In the vacuum of deep space, a large vessel 'The Oblivion' the biggest prison transport in on this side of the universe drifted like a ghost through the silent void. The ship's dim lights flickered intermittently, casting long, jittery shadows along the metallic corridors. Inside, the air was thick with tension and the oppressive stench of fear. Y/n, a young man who found himself on said vessel, currently he was biding his time until they hit their stop. One of the many moons discovered during earth's exploration of space, it was cold, harsh and empty.

A sudden jolt lifted Y/n from his cot and threw him against the cold wall. The ship's lights died with a shuddering groan, plunging the vessel into darkness.

"What the hell was that, did we hit something?" He asked nobody, rubbing his head.

Y/n's voice echoed in the darkness, swallowed by the eerie silence that followed. The ship's usual hum, the steady rhythm of machinery, was now replaced by an unsettling stillness. He pushed himself up, the cold wall behind him a harsh reminder of who he was a prisoner, bound for a frozen wasteland where hope went to die.

"What the hell is going on?" he muttered, more to steady his nerves than expecting an answer.

The metallic clink of a cell door echoed from in front of him, followed by the low murmur of other prisoners stirring in confusion. Fear crept in, coiling around Y/n's chest.

The ship was supposed to be a fortress, indomitable and relentless, but something had gone wrong. Terribly wrong.

A faint red emergency light flickered on, casting an eerie glow across the corridor outside Y/n's cell. The walls, once cold and sterile, now seemed menacing under the crimson hue. Footsteps echoed down the corridor, hurried and uneven. The guards were on edge too.

Y/n strained his ears, trying to catch any voices that might explain the sudden jolt or the ship's eerie descent into darkness. The usual chatter of guards barking orders, the clanging of boots against metal it was all muted, replaced by the distant echo of hurried footsteps.

The door to his cell slid open with a grinding hiss. He wasn't sure if it was a malfunction or if the guards had intentionally unlocked it in the chaos. Either way, he wasn't going to question his luck. He stepped out cautiously, his eyes adjusting to the dim red light that bathed the corridor. The shadows seemed to stretch and writhe with a life of their own, making the ship feel less like a transport and more like a tomb.

Watching the guards rush to the end of the corridor he decided it'd be best to go the opposite way. "I should hurry to the escape pods, I don't know if anyone else is free and if they are I need to be the first one there."

Y/n's heart pounded in his chest as he moved down the corridor, each step echoing in the unnerving silence. The flickering red emergency lights offered little illumination, casting long, jittery shadows that seemed to pulse with a sinister energy. His breath came in shallow bursts as he navigated the twisting passages of the colossal vessel, now an unrecognizable labyrinth in the chaos.

The ship shuddered violently, and Y/n nearly lost his balance, grabbing a handrail to steady himself. Hearing gunshots, shouting and screaming, Y/n continued on his way down the corridor albeit much faster. "I don't wanna meet whatever they're fighting. I need to move it."

Y/n's footsteps echoed in the eerie silence as he quickened his pace. The oppressive weight of the ship's gloom pressed down on him, and every distant sound made his skin prickle with unease. He moved swiftly, his mind focused on is goal of reaching the escape pods. Whatever was happening on The Oblivion, it wasn't something he wanted to be caught in the middle of.

The corridors twisted and turned, a maze of identical metal walls and grated floors. The crimson emergency lights blinked sporadically, casting everything in an unsettling, blood-red glow. The distant gunfire and screams faded as he put more distance between himself and the chaos. But the silence that replaced it was no comfort.
