This chapter takes place a day after chapter 30 of NDRage's story "Radron the Devourer" titled "Radron vs Alara." For additional context, read that chapter before reading this one.

After Alara had returned from her fight with Nyx, Andreae took possession of the parasites Alara had contracted. She holds the mass of them in her hand, about the size of a tennis ball, as she enters her cave again. Andreae flies down through the tunnels and back to her own quarters. She goes into a larger chamber with a high ceiling and various egg sacs along the walls and floor. Andreae finds an empty spot on the wall and places the parasites there before taking a step back. "Who are you? What is your name?" Andreae says to the mass writhing on the wall. It doesn't seem to communicate anything but Andreae tilts her head in response. "Secretive, are you? You have no reason to hide anything from me, seeing as how you're already trying to invade my own mind." Andreae says as she looks down at her right hand. The mass continues to squirm. "What? You didn't think I'd notice? As I'm sure you can see around me, I too am the Queen of my own hive that I plan to govern. This hive of my creation will be how me and my Master escape from the tyrant I assume you tried to seize control of." Andreae explains as she seems to relax. She closes her eyes, listening to the parasites working their way to her brain. "Sook. Is that your name? Sook?" Andreae asks. The writhing parasite known as the Sook calm their spastic movements. "Well, Sook... I believe that we can come to an understanding of one another. You only desire to rebuild your own hive. An understandable conundrum, but alas I can't allow your hive to grow at the expense of my own. However, you are more than welcome to stay here as long as you'd like. There is plenty of space for you to grow to your hearts content." Andreae proposes. The Sook don't seem to respond and again, Andreae tilts her head. "Hm. I can't say that I expected you to comply. Had our positions been reversed, I would probably respond similarly. No matter. Perhaps we can reach a... compromise." Andreae says putting a hand to her chin. Three days have passed since then and Alara's encounter with the corrupted fusion known as Radron. After a long sleep, Alara wakes up in her bed and slowly opens her eyes. Once she comes to, she sits up and stretches her arms with a loud yawn. "Man I am beat. Too many visitors have been stopping by here lately. I could use a vacation. Something, less conventional. Maybe go see a nice mountain range, or perhaps a ski resort. Ugh, that sounds cold though. I hate the cold..." Alara muses to herself as she gets up from bed wearing only her dark red bra and panties. Her messy bed head fixes itself into it's normal hair shape.

Alara picks up her clothes from the floor and gives them a sniff. "Oooh! Dear God, that stinks! With all these weirdos coming here, I haven't even had time to wash up. Maybe I should relocate my planet or something. Especially since Rage and Farah found their way here once before." Alara says as she picks her clothes up from the floor. She spends her morning cleaning up her home and herself. Once she's done, Alara walks outside for some fresh air, still in her bra and panties as her clothes are still being washed. She takes a deep breath but stops when she hears the low humming of her pillars again. She sighs heavily and rolls her eyes. "Oh give me a break... who is it now?" Alara asks in exasperation. She looks around, but doesn't see anyone or hear anything. She then uses her Cosmic Vision and sweeps her entire planet, but doesn't see anything out of the ordinary save for Andreae's cave. Alara squints in the direction of the cave. "What is that creature up to? Wyrm had better keep that thing under control. Hey, now that I think about it... where the hell is Wyrm anyway? Haven't seen him since he was getting choked half to death by that first cave-Succubus. Maybe he got hit by a stray blast or something and perished in his little lab." Alara says as she makes her way into Wyndham's lab. When she finds Wyndham, he's in a heap on the ground seemingly looking frantically for something. He looks up and sees Alara walking toward him and fearfully stands back up. "Y-you're, still-" Wyndham says and Alara stops him. "Alive and well. You won't be ridding yourself of me that easily." Alara says, looking over the disheveled lab again. "Is there something you need from me, Mistress?" Wyndham asks. "Just making sure that you didn't die before I told you to." Alara says coldly as Wyndham's eyes dart back and forth around the lab. Alara notices his divided attention and raises an eyebrow. "What's the matter with you? Your mistress is talking to you." Alara says annoyed. "I, can't find my Insect Queen. I haven't seen her in weeks." Wyndham says in worry. "Oh. Is that all? You need to get outside more, Wyrm. She's sitting off in a cave, no more than a mile away from here." Alara says, pointing in the cave's direction. Wyndham's eyes light up with relief and surprise. "She is??? She's alive?!?" Wyndham asks. "Actually I think she's gotten TOO comfortable. It looks like she's starting to breed her own lifeforms and setting off my security system." Alara says as she looks off annoyed in the distance. "She... she's breeding...? Than, she was a success!" Wyndham says happily. Alara looks back at him confused. "Success? Successful in what regard?" Alara asks. "The creatures that I engineered for her, she was able to use them to create her hive!" Wyndham says as a smile grows on his aged face. Alara blinks a few times in disbelief. "I'm sorry, you did what?" Alara says in a low, angry voice.
