"Addie, you know you can't keep doing this. Running away from your problems is only going to make the situation worse." A man spoke, agitated by the woman, "please, Addie - stay with me and we can both be together without worrying about the people around us!" The demon had hearts in his eyes, and a charming smile. The woman let out a shaky sigh as she lifted up her hand and caressed the man's cheek.

"I'm sorry, Frankie, but I'm afraid I do not reciprocate your feelings. I only see you as a friend - no more, no less - you're good guy though...and if you do find that girl who does also like you, then I'll be happy for you both." The woman's voice was soothing and gentle: sweet like honey, her hand slipping away from the other's cheek. The man teared up.

"Don't you think this is a bit dramatic, Vince?" Milo said in a hushed voice. Vincent was curled up with Milo and watching the frames run along with the voices.

"Yes, darling. I think that's what I like about these shows, delightfully dramatic" Vincent's goopy fingers ran through Milo's hair as he laid down still - allowing Vincent to pet his head like a genuine lover would. "It's like you, but more dramatic and probably less loveable- ¿sí?" Vincent hissed softly as he kept enjoying the current moment between the two. No violence, arguments or distrust. Just love.

Milo bought up his pendant to his eyes as he observed the peculiar blue-purple almost galactic colouring of the gem in the pendant. After a few months of settling down, Vincent and Milo seemed like a comfortable couple: Vincent's been nicer, he's even looked into Milo's way of expressing his gender identity and accepted him - even if he struggles to keep up with it sometimes. Vincent squirmed a little, "are you alright, babe?" Milo's eyebrow furrowed slightly.

"I am quite alright, Milo. Do you mind if you could grab the water off the side please?" Vincent muttered, despite the events that happened three months or so ago, he seemed to be a pretty tame man and lover. Just...crazy is all. Right?

"Yeah sure" Milo sat up and picked up the water and gave it to Vincent, it was piping hot to a normal human's standard, but down there in the pits of hell? It was cold, almost frozen cold. Vincent chugged down the glass like his life depended on it. And while Vincent did, Milo thought about three months ago. What were Eteled and Austin doing about now? They weren't dead, Vincent promised that and Milo also saw the two yesterday in the prison, so what they were able to do was pretty limited, but that out the way, he was still curious as a puppy. "I'd say this pendant is doing pretty well at holding back the inner demon..."

"I think so too, not everyone can do that as well as you have been. Congrats on that, my love." Vincent placed his hand over Milo's, delicately rubbing the back of his hand. Milo's gaze softened as he looked into the eyes of the demon who was his husband.

One of the guards suddenly burst the door open and almost destroyed the hinges off it, Milo jumping into the arms of Vincent. Milo and Vincent glanced at each other and back at the guard, both seeming equally as stunned as the other. Letting his feet touch the rock after a moment of processing the unpredicted visitor in the room. The guard was left out of breath, leaning over to use his legs and hold himself up.

"What is the meaning of this, Jerry?"

"I-It's your king's friends, lord."

"What about his friends?" Vincent raised an eyebrow, he was still wearing his pyjamas: a plain black shirt, blue shorts (that you'd expect to see out of someone who's exercising) and slippers. "If you're about to tell me that they escaped AGAIN, I will not hesitate to punish you..." Vincent's growl grew lower and lower with each word that fell out his mouth. Milo was swooning over this man - smitten.

"My darling, you seem particularly stressed, just relax for a second."

"..." Vincent grumbled and begrudgingly said, "fine. But only because it's you. Anyone else and they'd be toast..." Vincent let out a noise between a tired sigh and an irritated grumble.
