1.0 Chapter 15 (Part 2): Backstory

3rd POV

The fight with Ladybug took place a few blocks away from where Cross and Chat Noir's fighting. It might be a cat and mouse game, but it was very much serious.
"Come on, Kitty, Kitty, Kitty! Just one touch, then your miraculous will be MINE!"
"Meowwww!" Chat Noir chuckled before Cross had turned up right in front of him.
"You fa-"
Cross makes a grab at the ring and Chat Noir smartly pushes her away.
"Uh-uh...not today, Crossy! It's time for you to go back to the future..."
Cross makes a inhuman sound tries to scratch Chat Noir.
"Ooooooh, Cat fight. Now that is what I'm talking about..." Chat winked at Cross.
"You will payyyy!" Cross makes a run toward Chat Noir and Chat slyly steps sideways and Cross hits her head.
"Bravo, Little Mouse..."
"You pathetic Chat! You can't even get Ladybug to fall in love with you! No one loves you!"
"Now, who the hell told you to get personal, Mousy?"
"Your mother, Kitty-"
Cross sneered toward Chat Noir and Chat jabs her right on the face.
"Stupid little Cat!" Cross laughed.
Chat Noir not seeing an end to end, he keeps punching her until someone puts her hand on his arm.
"Ladybug-"
He stops. It's not his ladybug. It's the future Ladybug.
"Chat Noir...stop. It's okay..." a treacherous tear left the Chat's eye and he rubbed it away.
"I'm okay. I-I'm Chat Noir...sorry...I have to go."

Chat used his baton for a relief escape. He couldn't let Ladybug neither Bunnyx see him like this. It didn't matter if they were from the future.

Tears poured out of his green eyes and he detransformed and laid on his bed.
"Plagg...grab some cheese."
"She didn't know, Adrien...don't let her get to you...she's a villian..."
"I don't know what I cry for anymore, Plagg. She'll never come back. Mom will never come back.

A few feet away Gabriel was standing at the door. He had only heard one sentence.
"Mom will never come back."
His heart broke for himself and his son. His wife was his everything. And including his son of course.
"You had the chance, Gabriel. When you had the bunny miraclous. But you lost the chance-"
"Not right now, Nathalie..."
"You're greedy, Gabriel! You had Bunnyx right where you and Mauvaise wanted her. Why not fight?"
"Because Ladybug now has the Peacock miraclous. Fighting for another miraclous with only one miraclous? It's dangerous..."
"No, it is not. You rely on that power too much, Gabriel. You can do this, alone or as HawkMoth..."
Gabriel Agreste just nodded and strutted away.

Back in Adrien's room, he had stopped sobbing and was looking sadly at absolutely nothing. He felt sick to his stomach. When a subtle knock moved his attention to a very red Kwami at his window. He gestured for Tikki to come inside.
"Are you okay, Adrien? Ladybug has been worried..."
"Yes...tell her I'm okay, Tikki. Thank you..."
"What's wrong?" Tikki asks instead.
"Something about...my mum..."
"I'm sorry, Adrien..."
"Y-yeah..."

Lila Rossi's very house. And POV

I texted once more before I switched back to my original phone and texted Sabrina.

Lila: hey Sab, wanna hang? Heard Chloe was being soooooo mean...

Sabrina: Oh! Can I? Let me know where. Thanks, Lila. You're so precious!

Lila: Oh darling, always. See you at the park. Sit with me at school?

Sabrina: I'll ask the teacher to switch seats. Thanks, Lila...

Lila viciously smirked. Calling Gabriel Agreste.
"Plan worked."
"What plan?" Gabriel asked.
"Well, I wanted you to know that I am very curious how a man like you...stayed as HawkMoth for so so so long...."
"LILA ROSSI!"
"Noooo...I'll get you your victims. I just want a future with your son..."
"And why would I do that?" Gabriel asked.
"Your little secret could spill...very easily to my minion Sabrina. Or Marinette. Or even your own son."
"Blackmail...ha...what else could I suspect of a pathetic being..."
"I might be pathetic. But you'll be the pumpkin that'll be outed. So if you don't mind...Chloe will be ready for you tomorrow morning...akumatize her or not. Not my problem..."
"Lila Rossi has finally shown all her colors. You're Gray Lila Rossi. You will not get Adrien. I will give you one better. A permanent job...as a model." Gabriel said.
Lila smirked.
"Of course. Mr. Agreste. We have a deal."

For now...

Just for now. Then I will have it all.
