Yeah, I know the Shinoa and Narumi squad didn't meet up till Nagoya, nor did they go after Lucal Wesker until after Shinjuku, but I need to change timing around for this to work T~T

I was writing a sentence of this in choir, and I accidentally wrote "-in Shinjuku to help hold off the lyrics" lmfao-

Y/n was a bit better after she had almost overdosed on painkillers. And then the thing worse than being stabbed with a kunai, was that Guren had cut the poor Lamborghini right down the middle, destroying the car. Y/n couldn't begin to express her anger.

Now Y/n and Shinya had to walk to Shinjuku. With the people who practically caused her injury.

Y/n missed her silver haired vampire. A lot.

"Alright, is everyone ready?" Shinya asked, and got many variations of 'yes', "Alright, Y/n, Yoichi, and I will be position in high towers. Narumi and Shinoa, I believe you two had discussed close quarter combat plans?"

"Yes, we did."

"Good!" Shinya smiled, "Yoichi, Y/n, let's get a move on, we don't have much time left."

Y/n sighed once they were at the top of the tower. She was thankful when she was able to sit down to shoot. Y/n got all lined up with a broken window and pulled her bow string back, her magical scope coming into view in front of her as Shinya guided Yoichi.

They all paused their conversations as the three in the tower noticed the 15th progenitor. They watched as the others on the ground noticed the vampire as well.

"Y/n, you will be the first to fire," Shinya instructed, to which Y/n gave a hesitant nod.

Could she really kill a vampire?

Sure, she had no problems with the Four Horsemen of Johns, but an actual vampire?

At this moment all Y/n could think about was Ferid. All the surprisingly great memories they shared together. Y/n had relied on the 7th progenitor for a full 8 months.

Y/n swallowed a dry lump in her throat.

"Y/n, now!" Shinya instructed.

Y/n pulled her bow string even tighter as she shut her eyes.

"I'm sorry...!" Y/n whispered.

She released the bow string, her demon, Yuki-onna splitting off into white-tailed kites (birds) all aimed at the progenitor and his weird chef looking servant with a mustache.

Well, she didn't get the progenitor, but she got the weird guy at least. Y/n almost felt bad. Lucal Wesker had used the mustached vampire as a shield, watching the poor vampire turn into dust.

Now it was only Wesker.

"Good work, Y/n," Shinya praised, "Now, you two stay here until we give you the signal to come down."

Y/n give a lousy thumbs up while Yoichi nodded triumphantly.

Back on the ground, Y/n, after a while due to her recent injury, made it to the rest of the group.

"Hey!" Narumi and both Yuichiro greeted with a smile as Y/n walked over and debated using Shinya as a crutch, "Nice shot!"

Y/n just hummed in acknowledgement. One of Shinoa's squad members, Kimizuki, suddenly wrapped his arm around Y/n's waist, helping prop her up, and helping her stand better.

Y/n looked at the taller, rose pink-haired boy for a second, "Thanks..." she eventually mumbled.

"Yeah, no problem,"Kimizuki sighed, a seeming forever type of angry disappointment on his face, "It's our fault you're like this anyway."

Y/n didn't answer to his remark, only hold her side where she had been stabbed. For a moment, she was surprised that Kimizuki could hold her weight, but then she remembered everyone else on the team had been trained ruthlessly, and they weren't part of the imperial demon army nothing.

The squads conversed with each other until another plan was formed.

Currently, they were about halfway to Shinjuku. They would make the rest of the trek, and then meet the other soldiers in Shinjuku holding off the vampires.

"-Yeah, I heard there's a lot of higher ups and nobles and what not in Shinjuku."

Nobles? In Shinjuku?

Maybe Ferid was there.

Now Y/n was eager to get to Shinjuku.

She surprisingly didn't like humans. All they did was fight, fight, fight.

Y/n didn't like that. She didn't like battling and war. She liked reading in the garden. And she liked her joyous and lively vampire.

-and she felt like her body hadn't fully recovered yet from her illness. She didn't even know why she had this sickness. She always had a weaker immune system but never had the chance to go to the doctor, and if she was careful, she was normally fine.

But that didn't matter now.

All she needed to do was get to Shinjuku.
