Liv's POV

I got up and ran to the bathroom for the fifth time the night.

I got to the toilet and threw up the contents of my stomach. I felt someone pull back my hair and by their touch, I immediately knew it was Jay. After I was done, I turned around and Jay hugged me tightly as I sobbed. "Liv? What's up? Well, I mean other than the sky," Jay asked me. I smiled slightly at the joke before I busted out crying. "I-I feel like the only family I have left hates me! And I feel completely useless! I can't do anything now!" I sobbed. "Ha! If you think you can't do anything now, just wait till you start showing!" Jay joked lightly. I cried harder at his words. Jay's eyes widened before he tried to make a smooth recovery.

"If Sam can't accept that you're an adult who can make her own decisions, then that's her own fault. You're the only family she has left! I think she sometimes takes that for granted. She doesn't see how beautiful, or how smart you are, or how you can light up anyone's day," he said to me. I giggled. "Pun intended?" I asked. "You betcha! If she can't see all that, then it's her loss...Speaking of family, I've got a question for you," Jay told me as he got down on one knee. I gasped as he pulled out a beautiful ring.

"Liv, will you marry me?"

Nya's POV

I sighed lightly as I walked out into the living room.

I flicked on the light and gasped. "Can't sleep?" Caleb asked me as I sat down on the couch next to him. "Yeah. How'd you know?" I asked. "Because I'm down here for the same reason," he answered with a small smile. "So, what's your story?" He asked me. "Getting sentimental are we?" I asked with a chuckle. Caleb shrugged. "What can I say? I'm a sucker for a good story," I smiled at him before realizing he couldn't see it. I decided to just act like it never happened. "Well, ever since our parents died, Kai has had to take care of me and run our parents blacksmith shop. One day, Sensei Wu came into our shop looking for something that turned out to be the map to the four golden weapons the first spinjitzu master created. I got kidnapped by two generals of the skeleton army that worked for Lord Garmadon.

"Of course, Kai had to get me back, I'm the only family he has left. So, he trained with Sensei Wu to be a ninja and rescue me. That's when he met the other three. They went on a mission to get the golden weapons so they could save me. After they had gotten three of the golden weapons, all the was to do was get the Sword of Fire, Kai's golden weapon.

"When they took a break from the long journey, they set up a camp. Garmadon sent Kai an image of me to lead him into a trap. Kai followed the image to the Temple of Fire where I was tied up over the lava. To cut me down, Kai had to take the Sword of Fire from its resting place, which is exactly what Garmadon wanted. With the golden weapons, Garmadon could get out of the Under World.

"Kai didn't listen, as usual, and freed me. He then had to fight the Shadow Garmadon but you can't hurt a shadow. Even though they can hurt you. Kind of like a ghost. But anyways, to save the day, Sensei Wu did an ancient art and defeated Garmadon and we were freed. You know the rest," I told him the story as he listened intently. "Well, that's some story," he told me with a smile on his face. "Tell me about it! So, what's your story, Caleb?" I asked him.

"Well, there's really not that much to tell," he told me taking a sip of his tea that I just noticed. "There has to be something! You're telling me that in the 16 years you've been alive, nothing's ever happened to you?" I edged on. Caleb sighed. "Well, my father abandoned us before I was born. After my mother had me, she put Hannah and I in an orphanage. But who would want a blind kid as a son? No one. And Hannah refused to go to a foster home without me. We stayed there until Hannah aged out. We bought an apartment with what little money we had. But Hannah had to get a job to pay the bills. Her and Sam met at their work, they became good friends and we decided to move in together to cut expenses. You know the rest," he mimicked my words. I felt my heart ache at his story. "That's horrible! How could your parents do that to you?" I exclaimed. "Trust me I've been wondering that for 16 years," he answered quietly. I sat down beside him. "No one should make you feel that way, Caleb. Ever." I told him as we both leaned in to a kiss.
