In shadows cast by a moonless night, I wander through a realm devoid of light. Embraced by a silence so hauntingly still, I search for emotions, but find none to fulfill.

How it feels to feel nothing, I cannot explain, A vacant landscape where emotions wane. A desolate canvas, devoid of hues, Where every feeling I once knew, I lose.

No laughter to lift me, no tears to cleanse, No joyous melodies, no heartache's immense. A hollow vessel, an empty shell, Lost in a void where all emotions dwell.

I see the world's colors in shades of gray, A monotone existence, day after day. No warmth in the sun, no softness in rain, A numbness persists, an eternal refrain.

The touch of a loved one, a gentle caress, Fades into nothingness, leaving no impress. No passion's fire, no tender embrace, Just a void where emotions once held their place.

Oh, how it feels to feel nothing at all, A life adrift, caught in a timeless thrall. Yet, within this abyss, a flicker of hope, That someday, my heart will again elope.

For in the depths of this emotional abyss, I yearn for the return of what I miss. To once again taste life's bittersweet sting, To feel the full spectrum that emotions bring.

Until that day dawns, I'll keep wandering on, In search of the colors that I've forgone. For even in darkness, a glimmer may ignite, And reignite the flame that once burned so bright.

So, I'll embrace this journey, however long, Knowing that within me, there's a song. A melody waiting to be unfurled, A testament to the resilience of the human world.
