Raven was a normal average day teen. She lives in an apartment with her mom, older sister and twin baby brothers. Ravens an outcast. She wears reading glasses and has her hair in pigtails. She mainly dresses like a school nerd or like a grandma. This is only when she goes to school though, at home she wears short or no sleeves and jeans and has her hair down typically. Like every other Monday, she woke up early to get to school because on every Monday the popular kids wait outside the school to gather their homework from and tease the less popular kids. On the way to her school she heard a strange noise in the alley she always passes. With her being intrigued by everything new to her she went to find the source of the noise. When she got closer to the source she started to see a strange light that seemed to have a weird pull on her, ‘cause as she kept her eyes on the light it seemed to draw her nearer to it. When she finally realized what was happening and went to pull back, a vacuum-like force pulled her towards the light. Once she was right in front of it she saw an array of different colors in the middle of it before she saw black.
“Hey. Hey! Hey, wake up, it's time to wake up!” Raven slowly started to open her eyes to adjust to the light. When she opened them fully she saw a kid staring down at her giggling, then she caught a glimpse of the sky right behind the child. It was more of a tint of a blueish purple nothing like the blue sky she became accustomed to in her normal everyday life.
Raven shot up and yelled “What in the name of Christiany Anford is going on?!” The child that was still giggling now broke out in a fit of laughter as did the crowd of people that Raven didn’t even realize was there.
Finally a man that looked like an important politician figure cleared his voice and said “Sorry we’re not trying to offend you none. It’s just that everytime this happens the person that comes here always has a unique reaction that comes off a bit humorous to us after so many times of dealing with this type of thing.”
Raven finally calmed down and asked “What do you mean? Have people just suddenly woke up in the middle of this town and started screaming before?”
The political figure who later introduced himself as the mayor of this small town had to stifle a laugh and said “This isn’t a normal place as you probably already gathered. Here we have actual magic and with this blessing we can summon different creatures but because of this power if someone lost control or had a cold and magical energy is released to run wild it can cause a portal to appear. And because of this we were able to study different types of what you would call people.” When the mayor saw Raven’s less worried face and more confused face he simply said “Here follow me I will take you on a tour show you to the school and if you don’t want to live at the school’s dorms then I’ll show you to your own personal house.”
Throughout the tour Raven started to calm down more and more. Finally the mayor took Raven to her own personal house because she didn’t want to live in the school's dorms. The mayor before he left gave her; her school schedule and what time she had to be at school and informed her where her bus stop was. So not knowing what to do she looked in the drawers to see if there might be something in them and there was. Clothes of her size, some of her style and some of a different style in every drawer. She would normally freak out but she was already getting used to the magic in this place so she decided to see if the fridge was the same as the drawers which it was. Being content with her arrangements she decided to take a shower and head to bed.
