Something about this foreign world seemed to send the young man into a hypnotic trance, encapsulating his attention and drawing forth his need to explore; bringing forth his need to escape. Such simple things that were heeded by the tyranny of his peers. A quick, hard, shove knocks him aside, his world flipping momentarily as he crashes to the ground. Back upon the soft green grass, brown eyes moved to stare blankly, a hint of frustration and a form of fear cloaked behind indifference, at the perpetrator who had forced him down, like a master to their dog. Above him, flanked by two scrawny men, stood Bonifaas Fenn, a transfer from the Netherlands who had decided to start his tyranny upon Tsuna from the very beginning. A familiar warm, slightly choking, force swirled within him as he pushed himseld to sit up, a hand pressed to his hip that was fluctuating with a dull throbbing pain.
"My apologies, Dame-Tsuna, I didn't see you there." Bonifaas snickers, eyes narrowed to an amused squint, a well kept hand held up to badly hide the grin that tore apart his lips. It was a sickening sight to behold. "It's hard to see you sometimes with how small you are compared to us of higher standing."
Now, Tsuna wasn't small in stature, in fact he was a good height for an eighteen year old, however his low weight, and untrained body mass made him seem withdrawn, small, weak. His standing in the school was just as low as a dame could be, the very bottom. He stands to his full height though slightly hunched, slowly bending down once again to grab up his satchel, sliding his arm below the belt and slinging it onto his shoulder.
"A good for nothing like you, Dame-Tsuna, doesn't deserve to be given such a place in this prestigious Academy." Bonifaas scowls, hand dropping from his mouth to reveal the snarl on his lips, his words as sharp as a knife. "You deserve to be in the sewers, with the rats." Swinging his leg up high, he delivers a hard kick to Tsuna's side leaving the brunet to crumble forwards, snickering again as his buddies walk alongside him, the groaning man left behind.
He holds his hands to his side, grimacing as a sharp pain ripples through him, replacing the previous one. With a shaky sigh he hobbles away from the portal, shuffling along the soft grass that padded his walk along a familiar path. Eventually he collapses against a tree, breathing heavily as he slides the satchel from his shoulder, dropping it to the floor with a soft thud. Removing his blazer and lifting his shirt, revealed a darkening bruise, round and large in size. Tsuna groans and slides down, forgetting his blazer and cradling into himself. He pulls a dark notebook from the satchel, a pen held in its bindings and opened to the next empty page that held not a bit of his cursive handwriting.
His research, despite the hindrance of his peers, was going well, descriptions filling each page with illustrations. They were filled with small creatures and large creatures. Some scary, some faintly cute in his eyes. Despite all of this he held a certain fascination and a high sense of pride over his deep explorations of a world beyond his own, an escapism of a sort. There was so much to explore yet so little time. Reaching back into his bag he draws out a large book that seemed too big for his little bag, one given to him as a gift from his late brother. He opens the book to the bookmarked page and begins to sketch out the image, the pen flowing with ease. A sense of tranquility enveloped the surrounding area, drawing in lesser daemoniums that were drawn to the calm power emitted from the brunet.
This time, one creature took Tsuna's attention from his work, drawing his eyes over to a new settled power he had felt far in the distance and not as close as it was right that moment. His brown, almost orange tinted, eyes roamed across the small opening before settling upon a small black raven, its eyes gleaming array of golds and yellows. It watched with an almost sense of curiosity, hidden by a mask of caution.
Tsuna flips to the back of the journal where he sketched out the daemoniums that caught his attention, instantly sketching it out, eyes battling between staring at the black beauty and the paper. The raven, seemingly out of curiosity, hopped closer, almost drawn in by the brunet. Unlike any bird, it's head stayed fixated, unturned like you'd see a sparrow's or a robin's. It hopped to a short stop just before Tsuna's shoe, watching him with its golden hued eyes, alike a steady stare of an inquisitive human.
With a short flourish Tsuna stops and flips the journal, showing the now full pages covered in sketches of the raven. Its eyes flicker between each perfected drawing, hopping onto Tsuna's foot to get a closer look at it.
A sharp whistle cuts the interaction short, the raven flinching and jumping back, hopping away from the brunet who began to pack up and slide all the books and the pen into his satchel, wincing as he stood to his full height and pulled the stained blazer back on. With the satchel thrown over his unhurt side, he begins to hobble back toward the portal, the raven left behind in the clearing with an unknown look in its eyes before it turned and flew away, of into the distance.
The three men that had decided to personally pick on Tsuna stood to the right of the group, eyes glued to the limping brunet as snickers went back and forth between them. No one dared to even glance at the man in fear of becoming just like him. To them he was a bad luck charm, a clumsy dame who seemed to deserve what was unleashed on him. In reality people knew he didn't deserve it, but they didn't want to be next.
One by one they walk through the portal until Tsuna was last to reach it. As he goes to step through, hands reach out and push him back before the slip zips itself up and fades out of view, a ripple in time gone and separating him from his home realm. He was now stuck in the Daemonium world until the next opening time.
