A Disaster

Callie's P.O.V

     I woke up to one of my twins crying. I groaned getting out of bed and walking across the hall to see Paige sitting up in bed crying. Paige what's the matter sweetie I ask sitting next to her. I wan Mommy she says motioning for me to pick her up. I grab her under her arms and set her on my hip. She suddenly stops crying. Man this girl can go from happy to sad in an instant. She hugged me the best she can considering I was 16 and she was two. I walked down the stairs with her on my hip putting her in her highchair. I went to the fridge and grabbed the already made food when I saw a not on the counter. It read:

Dear Callie,
I'm so sorry but I will be busy all day so I can't watch the girls.
You either neeed to take them to school with you or stay home.
And your father will be working till 9 PM tonight so he can't watch them either.

     I stood there stunned until I heard Paige whine since she was hungry. I walked over grabbing a spoon on the way handing it to her so she could eat. Paige knew how to eat with her hands well enough to do it by herself with just me watching her. Parker could do it on her own to but she makes such a mess that sometimes I didn't feel like clean. So every one in awhile I feed her and she happily agrees. I had just sat down when Parker started crying and calling me so I walked up the stairs to see her sitting in bed waiting for me.

     I pick her up and place her on my hip and walk downstairs setting her in her highchair next to Paige. You see their father left me the minute he found out I was pregnant so for the past 2 years i've beeen a single mom with a little help from my parents. They didn't help me all the time don't get me wrong I mostly take care of the girls but with 2 I need a little help sometimes. Once Paige and Parker finished eating I took them into the living room and set them down in their playpen while I went upstairs to go and Facetime Alexis and Molly to see what I should do about the twins. You see,the only two people outside my family who knew about them was my two bestfriends Alexis and Molly.

     I hit the button and Alexis answers ameiditly but Molly waits till it rings 3 times. Girls I got a bad situation I say freaking out a little making them more aware. What's the matter Cal's asks Molly. Both of my parents can't watch the twins I say. Take them with you Prinipal Trevors already said anytime you need to take them with that's ok Molly says. I guess that's my only option really I can't be out I have 3 tests today a 200 point worth project plus an essay I say putting my head in my hand. I would like it if you brought them in Alexis says making me nod and smile. See you girls in awhile I gotta get the twins ready I say quickly and hang up.

     I go downstairs grabbing Paige and take her in her room and set her on the changing table. I put Paige into a red mickey mouse shirt with a red white and blue flowerd skirt and white flat shoes with a kitty face on them. Once she's ready I sit her up brushing her chocolate brown hair a putting it into pigtails. I brush her bangs quickly and bring her back downstairs setting her back in the playpen. I then grab Parker carrying her up to her room and set her on the changing table. I put her into a black shirt that had a rain bow peace sign with a red and white pokadotted skirt and sparkley red flats.
