8. Night Before School

I get outside and look around. I go on a walk to clear my mind when i see Haley outside too looking overdressed. She see me and come to my direction.

Haley:Y/n, what are you doing outside this late?

Y/n:Just trying to clear my mind about tomorrow, new school thing. What about you?

Haley:Well, I'm going to a party

Y/n:You're going to a party when tomorrow you have school?

Haley:Don't be like mom. I am just a teenager that wants to party when I'm still young. Hey, wanna come?

Y/n:I told my parents i will not be so rebellious anymore

Haley:Now I'm curious, what you did in your old town?

Y/n:What i didn't? I got to many parties and i ended up burning something. I almost crashed the car because i was with some friends and they told me to just go faster and of course i did and yeah

Haley:Wait, you can drive?

Y/n:Yeah, of course, my car will get here tomorrow in the morning, the only reason i didn't drive myself it was because i love to sleep when there are long and boring ways

Haley:I have to say it, I'm not the best driver in the world

Y/n:Really?

Haley:Yeah, really. Hey, why don't you drive me to school since we go at the same one

Y/n:Yeah sure. Just call me when you're ready

Haley:I will finally don't have to stay with my family in the morning in the same car

Y/n:Yeah

Haley:And i am sorry for how i acted the last time we saw each other. Hugging you was not the best decision

Y/n:Don't worry about it, just glad to help

Haley:You know, it really meant a lot to me

I feel her getting closer and my temperature is heating as hell when out of nowhere...

Claire:Haley! Where are you?

Haley:Oh fuck, if i was actually gone i would have got in a lot of trouble, now i can use the excuse that i came to talk to you

Y/n:Dressed like this?

Haley:Hey, we're both teenagers discovering love, it wouldn't be a surprise to think i dressed like this for you

My blood is hot and my body is going to explode. I just smile and act normal.

Y/n:Yeah, you're right

Haley:Wait, i don't have your phone number, and i can't just come to your house looking desperate

I give her my phone number and we both walk to our houses. She smiles and waves at me, i wave back and get inside my home. I directly go into my room and think to myself how much anxiety i have in me. To go to a new school to make a good first impression because this matter the most and oh my lord all the negative things running in my head right now. I want to sleep but i know that will not happen. I'll just overthink the until the morning.
