It happend while the sun was setting. When the man confessed his feelings for her beneath the cherry tree .

„I know, we always fight and I guess that is just what we do. Every time we see each other we quarrel" he said smiling at the memory of their playful fights. „Yet we both know that one isn't actually serious while throwing insults at the other one. Your favorite name for me is idiotic blockhead after all."

He shifted slightly uncomfortable, while looking at the flowers he held in his hand.

„I like your hair, it is so soft and it's color is truly beautiful. I also like, no rather love your mesmerizing eyes, or your sweet smell, your soft skin, your determination , your stupidity , your jokes, your laugh and..." he muttered "I like you in general. I love you most of all. Sorry for having been such a blockhead before. I should have told you this way sooner." he ended while tears ran down his cheeks.

"So why aren't you answering me ?" he cried out "or for god's sake, you can just call me stupid for this, but please, I beg you say something!" he added , while covering his eyes as tears continued to flow down and drop down to the ground. He knelt down and put the flowers next to the cherry tree.

Slowly he stood up again to walk away. He turned around after a few steps to look back once more.

The last beams of the setting sun shone at the tree and made her gravestone throw a large shadow down the small hill. The once so proud man turned his back to her grave , after looking at the flowers he had left there for a few moments and walked away quietly. His most beloved person had vanished from the surface of the earth and his dreams were shattered into pieces, yet he could swear that the gentle breeze which took some cherry blossom petals down the hill almost sounded like her voice ' I love you too' it whispered to him as he finally left.
