The Penumbral Shadow

Chapter 1 - Wake Up

Bbb was happily spending time with his elements. They were laughing and talking. Halilintar is being teased by Taufan while the former struggles to push him away. Blaze is annoying his twin, who is dead asleep right now. Solar is assisting Duri with his plants. And Gempa is trying to resolve the fighting between Taufan and Halilintar. Overall a normal day.

Bbb and the gang were given 2 weeks of vacation. Which, according to Laksamana & Komander, was to help the gang mentally deal with the recent events. At the moment, there is only 1 more week. It was, fortunately, a weekend, so he could spend the day with his elements.

Bbb turned around, feeling someone watching them. No one. But when he looked back at his elements, they were gone. He panicked, worried someone took them from him. Then suddenly, the floor beneath him opened as he fell into an abyss of darkness.

He woke up in cold sweat. Then he realized he was in a forest, with a heavy fog over it. He was stranded in the middle of nowhere. He attempted to contact his friends, Ochobot, and TAPOPS, but to no avail.

"Hello..."

Boboiboy panicked as he looked around frantically. He sees a shadowy figure behind a tree. He gasped, only for the figure to disappear.

"Follow me..."

"W-who are you!?" Bbb yelled. He was already terrified of this place. Knowing he was not alone was even more terrifying.

"Why don't you look for me and come find out for yourself?"

The voice sent shivers down Bbb's spine. In a fighting stance, he asked, "And why would I do that?" He was trembling in fear, but would never dare show it.

"Follow me..."

He thought he was hallucinating. But 2 shadowy figures stand behind the trees. He blinked, and they were still there. He was DEFINITELY NOT hallucinating. Then more appeared. He blinked, they disappeared. But when he turned around, they were all behind him.

'Oh frick-' He thought. Bbb started to run. But as he ran, more figures appeared behind the trees. Some of them even started to chase him. He only had 2 goals in mind. 1. Get out of this creepy forest. 2. Never look back.

"Follow me... find me..."

It seemed as though this forest goes on forever. This time, Bbb looked behind. The shadowy figures started to increase rapidly.

"Follow me... find me... look at me..."

And he did, but there were so many figures, he didn't know which of them was speaking. "Who are you!?" Bbb yelled once more.

"Follow me... find me... look at me... look into yourself..."

He looked down and realized that... he has no shadow. 'Wait what-!?' He was too stunned and tripped. They all started to approach him.

"Follow me..."

"Stop!" Bbb cried out. He quickly got back on his feet and continued to run.

"Find me..."

"Where are you!? Who are you!?" Bbb yelled as he got cornered into a cave. It was a dead end for him. They all started to get closer to him.

"Look at me..."

"Bbb Gem-, eh?!" He attempted to summon Gempa but his watch glitched out.

"Look into yourself..."

"C'mon!! Why isn't this working!?" He kept trying to summon his elements. No matter what, nothing worked.

The figures started getting closer. Yet no matter how close they are, Bbb can't seem to see what they actually are. They seem like they're purely out of shadows/darkness.

"Learn me..."

The cave suddenly collapsed. And now, he was stuck in a white room with all the dark figures.

"Understand me..."

They all smiled as they seemed to merge together into one sole figure. Bbb eyes widened in surprise. This figure... looks exactly like him. He had a black & purple attire. His cap was facing the front tilted left. With a Crescent Moon symbol on his cap. His face was covered by his cap.

"Who are you?" Bbb asked cautiously. "Why don't you find out yourself?" The figure looked up. A small smile plastered on his face.

"And how am I supposed to do that?" He felt scared. He wanted to run, but couldn't move. The figure walked up to him saying;

"Wake Up"
