In the distant past, in a realm not of our own, resided the Gods. They were not indigenous to that world either, for they hailed from a distant realm beyond our imagination. As they descended upon this foreign land, the Gods presented the humans with a tantalizing opportunity—to partake of fruits infused with their divine essence. However, these fruits held a treacherous secret, for they possessed the power to both grant unimaginable strength and claim the lives of the unworthy.
Only a handful of courageous souls were enticed by the allure of consuming these sacred fruits, while even fewer were deemed worthy by the Gods themselves. These chosen few, bestowed with the divine essence, would henceforth be recognized as the 2nd-Generation gods. This nomenclature served to distinguish them from their counterparts—the 1st-Generation gods—who had traversed from another world entirely, bringing with them their own ancient and mysterious origins.
Among the last mentioned, we would find our protagonist, a playful and cheerful boy whose hair and clothes turned white when he took the fruit a long time ago. His name is Monkey D. Luffy. Unlike the other gods who only cared about the balance of the world, he just wanted to have fun, either with his brother Sabo or Uta, his childhood friend, or any other god who was ''lucky enough'' to cross him.
He thought that if he was a god, he would have lots of adventures and play with lots of people, but instead, he was bored in the home of the gods, who lived in the skies where mortals would called it heavens (although he had a vague memory that there was something else that motivated him to be a god, but he didn't really care to remember it at the time).
The only activity he could do was to look at the mortals living below them since by divine decree, he could not interact with them directly, so he would have been bored too, except that there was one person in particular that he liked to look at a lot: a beautiful young woman with white skin, long tangerine hair, eyes to match her hair and a tattoo of a windmill with orange on her left shoulder.
The girl, who was called Nami, lived in a village selling oranges, and sometimes robbing some thieves generously donating what she stole to the local orphanage in her village. Although she had a simple life, she hardly had any free time to herself, because she lived alone in the village.
One fateful day, after a successful encounter with a band that she just stole from, Nami was making her way home. Clad in a simple white dress with a knee-length green skirt, she strolled along the familiar path straight back to her home when suddenly out of the sky fell a boy in all white with a wide smile.
Out of the clear blue sky, a boy dressed in all white descended before her eyes, sporting an infectious smile. In that moment, Nami realized she was face to face with a god, a realization that both thrilled and startled her. Before she could fully comprehend the situation, the boy began to grow in size, towering above everything at a staggering 15 meters tall—a true giant!
In the blink of an eye, his colossal hand scooped her up, sending waves of terror and fear coursing through her veins. Confronted with the immense presence of this behemoth, Nami couldn't help but fear for her life, imagining herself being devoured or crushed. Her thoughts turned to the orphanage and the children who relied on her support.
With trembling anticipation, Nami closed her eyes, ready to accept her fate. But to her surprise, when she dared to open her eyes again, she found herself still in the giant god-boy's gaze. However, there was something different about the way he looked at her. His expression carried a hint of curiosity, as if he saw her as a delightful creature of some sort. And then, he did something unexpected—he gently pressed his index finger against her, giving her an affectionate rub.
