The Rooftop

-Haewon's POV-

I walked to school with Kyujin as usual, we had the normal conversations we usually had while walking to school. And I honestly didn't wanna talk about having a "self-esteem and self-confidence boost" again. I have to admit, I really needed one. Badly.

We arrived at the school, and to my luck, we didn't have our first class together. Well, my day is already being worsen. I really just wanna steal my brother Sunghoon's talent of being able to ice-skate flawlessly. That would've made my whole life easier. But I just had to be born without anything I was good at.

I went to the rooftop to clear my mind and get some fresh air. Mid-way, I hear someone singing. The figure looks like a girl, I approach her. And I stop near the entrance of the rooftop.

Her voice is absolutely heavenly. I thought to myself, I walked a bit closer to her and examined her face for a bit, but she noticed and got surprised. She stopped singing for a few seconds.

"YAH! You seriously scared me!" She tells at me pouting.

"Sorry, what's your name by the way?" I ask her, I was honestly about to laugh my ass off.

"Lily. Lily Morrow. You?" She asked.

"Oh Haewon. You can just call me Haewon." I answered giving her a soft smile in return.

She returned the smile, and asked me something.

"What time is it?" She asked me.

"Oh, it's almost 7:50 why?"

"Nothing, just wanna make sure I'm not late."

Our classes started really late in the morning, so we had almost the whole morning to joke around or study.

"That's good, we have a lot of time. We still have 2 hours before class starts anyway."

It was just after school break, and it was already summer. I was really excited for summer break.

"I wonder why we have classes at 9:00 instead of 7:00 or 8:00." She wondered out loud.

"Yeah, it's confusing." I answered her agreeing with her statement.

"Can you sing again maybe Lily?" I asked her.

"Y-yeah sure.." And with that she started singing again.

"Huh? Thanks! I get that a lot, I don't think so though. "

We just laughed it off. And we went to class after. I really love the sound of her angelic voice. It sounded too good to be true, was I, falling for this woman?
