The sun dipped below the horizon, casting a golden glow over the tranquil Lotus Pier, the residence of the esteemed Jiang Sect. In the heart of Yunmeng, a bustling city known for its vibrant culture, lived the Jiang family. Sect Leader Jiang Fengmian, a man of noble character, and his wife, Madam Yu, ruled over their domain with wisdom and grace. They were blessed with three children, the youngest of whom was Wei Ying, a spirited and mischievous young man.

Wei Ying, whose courtesy name was Wei Wuxian, was not like his older siblings, Jiang Yanli and Jiang Cheng. He possessed the unique status of being a male omega in a predominantly omega family. This rarity was a constant source of both pride and concern for his parents and siblings. The Jiang family had always embraced their omega heritage, but the world outside their sect was not always as accepting.

Wei Ying's biological parents were no longer alive, but he knew that his birth father, Wei Changze, was the half-brother of Sect Leader Jiang Fengmian. After his parents' untimely demise, Jiang Fengmian took Wei Ying under his wing and raised him as his own, treating him no differently than his other children.

On a fateful day, the Yunmeng trio, consisting of Wei Ying, Jiang Yanli, and Jiang Cheng, received an invitation from the prestigious Gusu Lan Sect. It was an opportunity for them to study under the strict tutelage of Grandmaster Lan Qiren, the formidable uncle of the renowned Twin Jades of Lan, Lan Huan (courtesy name Lan Xichen) and his enigmatic younger brother, Lan Zhan (courtesy name Lan Wangji).

Excitement and nervousness filled the air as the three omegas prepared for their journey to the distant Gusu Lan Sect. Jiang Yanli, the epitome of grace and kindness, held their family together with her unwavering love. Her calming presence brought solace to Wei Ying and Jiang Cheng during times of uncertainty. Jiang Cheng, fiercely protective and quick-tempered, had always been Wei Ying's closest companion, supporting him through every adventure and misadventure.

As they arrived at the prestigious sect, Wei Ying's eyes widened at the sight of the magnificent architecture and the ethereal beauty of the Cloud Recesses, the abode of the Gusu Lan disciples. The serene surroundings mirrored the aloofness of the sect, which was known for its adherence to rules and rigid discipline.

Amidst the stoic crowd, Wei Ying's gaze involuntarily gravitated towards Lan Zhan, the captivating and distant jade. Lan Zhan's icy demeanor radiated a sense of untouchability, leaving many intimidated. The young omega, however, saw past the façade and was drawn to the mystery that lay within.

Wei Ying's enthusiasm, his zest for life and laughter, clashed sharply with Lan Zhan's serious disposition. Their initial interactions were met with disdain and disapproval from the Lan disciple, who found Wei Ying's flamboyance and carefree nature distasteful. The cold and distant attitude from Lan Zhan only fueled Wei Ying's determination to win him over.

Within the confines of the Gusu Lan Sect, Wei Ying's persistent nature continued to clash with Lan Zhan's stoic demeanor. Despite Lan Zhan's initial coldness, Wei Ying found himself drawn to the enigmatic jade, unable to resist the allure of unraveling the layers that shrouded his true self.

One day, as Wei Ying roamed the picturesque gardens of the Cloud Recesses, he spotted Lan Zhan in the distance, diligently practicing his swordsmanship under the watchful eye of Lan Qiren. An impish grin played on Wei Ying's lips as an idea formed in his mischievous mind. He decided it was the perfect opportunity to engage Lan Zhan in conversation once again, hoping to break through the walls that separated them.

Skipping over to where Lan Zhan stood, Wei Ying called out, "Lan Zhan, your swordsmanship is truly admirable! But don't you ever get tired of all this seriousness? You should try enjoying life a little more!"
