Guest Space For Six

Wanderer wasn't expecting anyone to be in his apartment that he lived alone in. So when he came back from buying groceries he jumped, but luckily didn't scream.

His mouth was hanging open as he placed the two cardboard bags full of food onto the kitchen counter.

No one said anything. After a minute he decided he would have to.

"Do you all know who I am?" He looked at each of their expressions, everyone looked confused, but Aether also looked bored.

"No, I don't think so. Now can you tell us how to leave," The blond looked around, and Wanderer knew he was looking for a portal. The same thing that had brought him here as well. It had not appeared in this dimension that he knew of, but it probably would have been on the news if it had appeared.

The other people all just shook their heads, but one stepped forward. And then started walking until she was standing right in front of him.

"You seem calm. May I ask why? We did just appear here."

"I wouldn't be scared of you all."

"Did you ask 'do you all know who I am' for a reason? Do we know you?" She continued asking questions.

He slightly smiled and stepped back, trying to look at all of them at the same time, "Call me Wanderer."

And then his quiet apartment grew loud.

"What?" A blond hair girl screeched as she ran up to him, stopping just short of hitting him. "You couldn't be him, you look different. What are your other names?"

He scowled and pushed her back lightly, "You know them. I don't go by them any more."

"But what are they?" She pressed on.

He sighed, "Balladeer and Kunikuchi."

She gasped and hugged him tightly, "It's been a month."

The she held him by the shoulders and looked him in the eye, "Did you go through the portal."

He didn't look at her, but nodded.

She sighed, "Us too. We found it while looking for you."

He smiled, looking at the only people he trusted.

Besides Aether, Lumine was holding onto his shoulders, Nahida was standing behind her, and Ayato, Ayaka, and Thoma were standing beside Aether. These were the people he called family.

Nahida was his mother figure. Lumine, Ayato, Ayaka, and Thoma were like his siblings. And Aether, the blonde who now was looking at him with sparkles in his eyes, was his boyfriend.

"Lumine, as much as I love you, please let go," He had a soft spot for these people, but he wouldn't tell anyone else besides them that fact.

He walked behind the four in his living room that connected to his kitchen, "Sit, please."

Lumine, Ayaka and Ayato took the couch facing away from the floor to ceiling window. Nahida took the chair closest to the wall, and Wanderer sat on the left chair closest to the hallway. Thoma sat with his back against the couches armrest. Aether sat on the arm on the chair Wanderer was sitting on.

"You guys need to know about this world. And what has happened since I came here," And the he told them everything.

By the time he finished talking Ayaka looked like she was about to cry and stood up to hug him. He accepted and stood as well. They took turns giving hugs and talked more.

The topic then moved on to how to get out of this world. Wanderer said that he had waited for a portal to appear, or to find one, but there was none.

"Is there any other way?" Thoma asked.

"Perhaps," Nahida responded. "But for now, may we stay with you Wanderer."

"Yes, of course."

He was then sent to go get them clothes at a near by mall. Lumine had said that he was dressed very differently than them, and he said they couldn't go out wearing what they were wearing. They didn't need any questions

After finding the measurements he wrote on his phone he got them each two day outfits and one night outfit. He also got them hair elastics and hair dye. He didn't want them to look the same, in case someone from their world came here and recognized them, the same reason he changed his own looks. He didn't want any commotion. But he knew getting them to change their personalities would be difficult.

As he carried four large bags of stuff he left the mall, then stopped. Miu and Rantaro were walking towards the mall, chatting and not looking at him.

He turned and speed walked to the other side of the parking lot on the opposite side they were walking. He turned to make sure they didn't notice him, and after finding out they didn't, he continued to speed walk down the street until he was out of sight from the front entrance of the mall. Then he slowed down to stroll and went to his apartment.

He arrived only eight minutes later. They agreed to be quiet, and didn't answer the door or home phone in case they were questioned.

He locked the door and placed the bags on the table in the living room. He handed the six their respective clothing and let them choose the hair dye and elastics they wanted.

Lumine had casual clothing and dyed her hair purple, like Raiden's. Aether had casual clothing but fancy shirts, and dyed his hair orange, like Thoma's. Thoma had baggy clothing and dyed his hair blue, like Kaeya's. Ayato had casual/fancy clothing, and dyed his hair black. Ayaka had the same type of clothing as Ayato and dyed her hair green, like Sucrose's. Nahida had casual clothing and dyed her hair the colour of Hu Tao's. None of them chose to change their hair style though, so only the colour changed.

Wanderer also didn't want to get eye contacts, and had a feeling it would be a hassle to have them all wear them and not have them get mixed up or forget to wear them.

Then was the matter of sleeping arrangements. Wanderer thought of the connections in their family.

Nahida was like Wanderer's mom.
Wanderer was dating Aether.
Aether was Lumine's brother.
Lumine was dating Ayaka.
Ayaka's brother was Ayato.
And Ayato was dating Thoma.

Wanderer and Aether shared Wanderer's room. He only had one guest bedroom, so he gave it to Lumine and Ayaka. Ayato, Thoma, and Nahida, made make shift beds on the floor after Wanderer went and bought two mattress, luckily with no problems, and used blankets and pillows from the hall closet.

Wanderer decided he needed more food. And money.

After Thoma, Wanderer, and Aether made dinner for all of them they ate together. They ate in the kitchen, pulling up the chairs from the living room.

He also needed a bigger kitchen table and more chairs.
