A Girl Between Worlds.

Chapter 2

"Who am I getting my self involved with?.." 

The girl whispered to her self as the better part of her was screaming and pleaded her to run far away from him, but she didn't she followed him. The man reached in his pocket and handed her a cloth 

"Put this on the crack in y our head to stop the bleeding, you are so small, I don't need you to pass out on me.."

Nikki mumbled a thank-you and placed the cloth on her throbbing wound

"if you don't mind me as-asking..."

She paused for a moment debating if she should finish what she was going to say 

"What's your name?"

There was along pause in the air as she awaited for him to answer, they finally reached the edge of the woods 

"Brian, Brian Thomas.."

He stated removing his mask to reveal a man with short dark brown hair and dark brown eye to match, he had a gap between his teeth and fair skin. From what Nikki could tell he loked like everyone else but not everyone else runs around in the woods with a camercorder in a blood stained hoodie wearing a mask now do they? After an hour of walking passing by many people who just looked down at her and said nothing they arrived at a two story house . Brian than unlocked the door and walked in having Nikki trail behind him as he shut the door he exclaimed;

"Salem I'm home!" 

right after he said that a kitten with long black hair and light greenish blue eyes jumped up in his arms and climbed up to his shoulders and laid acrossed them as the cat nuzzled him a sweet voice from the stairs admitted

"It seems like you love that cat more than me"

the voice was followed by a small giggle that belong to a girl who stood about 5'5 with long brunette hair that was curled with light pink eyes that just complemented her snow white skin. Nikki's eyes made contact with her and Nikki immediately directed her gaze to the ground looking at her brown boots that were pointed inward as her face immeadently flushed a deep red along with her ears as they slowly leaned back wards with her emotions. 

"Who is this?"

The nameless girl looking the small elf up and down almost like she was trying to read her thoughts.

"Don't worry Faith, this is Nikki-Lee she's new to the area."

the mans voice was stern looking at the other almost like she was going to attack the smaller blonde. The burnette walked  down the stairs her curls bouncing with every step she took. She must have not been paying attention to what Brian was saying because she keep her stare on the elf her pink eyes like daggers;

"So what exactly is your name?"

Nikki's eye directed to her boots the were pointed inward as her ears shyly went back, her ears and face turning red as she shook there nervous of what was going on.

"M-My name is Nikki-Lee..."
