Christmas is coming soooo soon! Batty said that Jeffery was gonna be staying with us too! I can't wait. A whole two weeks for Batty and Jeffery to play music for me to dance to. Skye and Dusek are flying in from California, Rosy and Tommy are gonna be here a lot, but they'll be staying at their house--they live close enough to do that. Jane's been living here in Cameron, too, in her apartment, still driving her old car. Ben's flying in soon and I think that his girlfriend is coming too. I've never met her. I wonder what she's like. According to Skye (she got to meet her!), Ben's girlfriend, Kaliah, is perfectly normal and nice. The one downside to having everyone over is that I have to help Mom and Dad clean the house. I don't want to do that. But Batty and Jeffery and Skye and Dusek and Jane and Rosy and Tommy are coming!
Boston is so far away. Or at least that's how it feels. I never get to see Jeffery or Batty often enough. But California! I may as well never get to see Skye and Ben.
"Lydia!" I hear Mom yelling at me. "Please come help me with get Batty's room ready!"
I sigh, taking out my earbuds, slipping them back into their case, "Coming!"
