The Roller Coaster Ride of My Engineering Degree

By finishing my last end semester exam early, I saved some time,

And decided to recap my last four years, then wrote this rhyme.

Missed my dream college, found solace at Thapar's door,

Feeling like a loser, uncertain of what lay in store.

But as I settled in, some friends came by my side,

I realized we're all alike, breaking that shy stride.

Then COVID struck, disrupting our plans,

Locked away for semesters, we made new stands.

In the chaos, I found solace, learning to adapt,

Making the most of a tough time, that's a fact.

Academically I got better, expanding my knowledge base,

But the true gems were friendships, adding color to my space.

With best friends, I explored, had tons of fun,

Late-night laughs, overcoming exams one by one.

An engineering degree, a roller coaster ride it may be,

Anxieties of exams, assignments, and lots of cold coffee from Jaggi.

Through the ups and downs, anxieties grew,

But with friends, I made it, the journey was true.

Now as I reflect, nostalgia fills my every thought,

Four years of adventure, with lessons dearly taught.

So here I stand, an engineering graduate, proud and tall,

Grateful for the journey, for the friendships that enthrall.
