Shiela was in Lacey's room.
Lacey was agitated. "My friend is in danger. Someone wants to hurt her. My friend, Candi."
"I know, Darling, Matthew told me about that disgusting mayor. You told him and he took care of it, remember?"
"No, this is the meanest man in the world. He will hurt her. Get up, go, go help her."
"How do you know, Lacey?" Shiela asked.
"You know I just know sometimes. I see it. I see it clear as a picture."
Shiela looked at Lacey. Lacey had not done that in awhile, made a prediction that Shiela knew was as good as true. My girl's back, she thought.
