(Btw, Bold means their talking in a language that Ash & Lance can't understand. Normal means their talking in a language he can understand, and Italics is the Wenja language.)
*Ash's P.O.V*
"Mu misi Lance. Whka wai mi love kwa mu separatta ku? Mu shate sa cha." I grumbled to the woman, and she giggled as she talked to the 'professor' in front of us. "There he goes again in that fake language of his. He is very persistent, let me tell you, Professor!" My new 'mom' said, and I huffed. "Delia... That's not a fake language. It's the language of the Wenja tribe!! Hold up, lemme see if I can talk to him normally!! Sheka manu sam, hasa ta okaka ku? ta may prapa kam sú... " The professor said, and I huffed. " Mu wai separatta bi mi love. Kwíd daha ta mani. daha ta mani mu would hesti okaka pas sa ku!" I snapped, and he sweatdropped. "Ah... It seems he was separated from his lover. What's your lover's name, little one?" The professor asked, and I frowned. "His name is Lance. He's older than me, but we love each other dearly. Around ten to fifteen Summers older, I believe. I'm fifteen currently. I just look younger because food is scarce in Oros due to the damn Udam." I say, and he nodded. "I was told he is able to speak Sinnohian, but... Mine is subpar." My 'mom' said, and I shook my head. "Clear... Understand... Well... Still... Unused... To... New... Language???" I say, questioning my words and pronunciation. "You're doing quite well, little Wenja. So... Why are you not with your tribe?? I'm Samuel Oak by the way." He said, and I nodded. "Ash. Son of Takkar and Sayla. I was exiled with my lover due to accidentally leading the Udam to our home camp. Mama barely lived due to injuries sustained during a tiger attack before the raid happened." I say, looking down sadly, and Oak nodded in understanding. "I see... Exile... A heavy price for a kid." Oak said, and Delia looked at him shocked. "What?" Delia said, and I frowned. "He was exiled with his lover, Lance, due to the two accidentally leading Udam to their home camp. Where the Wenja live is a primal land, and something like leading the Wenja's worst enemies to their biggest encampment is considered a threat to the tribe. They were left to die, essentially." Oak explained to her, and she nodded in understanding before she lead me to her home to help me get settled in.
*Time Skip - Five Years Later*
'I am FINALLY free from that crazy woman!!! God damn!!! I'm not going to stick around, that's for sure!! Thank God everyone in Kanto is required to take lessons on the Wenja language!! I sure aced that class! Now, where is that shell shop? I wanna make a new necklace, and, maybe, Elder Oak can put in a translator for me so I can just speak Wenja and not have to worry about trying to speak Kantonian!!' I thought, and then quickly darted to the shops to find some perfectly sized shells to make a necklace out of. "Ah, you're the picky sort, huh? What shells do you need, sir?" The shopkeeper asked, and I hummed. "Wenja." I simply said, and she looked at me in shock before smiling. "Ah, yes, that would be right here." She said, giving me a jar of shells that were precisely the right size. I then proceeded to pay her for it, fumbling a bit as the plastic bills they made were not like the normal shiny stones the Wenja used as currency. "Thank you for your business, sir! Happy hunting, brashta!!" The shopkeeper said, and I smiled at here before waving goodbye, and heading to Elder Oak's lab. "Elder Oak? It's Ash! Can I come in?" I asked, and he happily let me inside before I say down on his floor beside his living room table and began making the two necklaces. 'Lance will want one too... I have enough for both of us.' I thought, and then proceeded to carefully make the necklaces. "I'm assuming you want me to put translators in these for you and Lance?" Elder Oak asked, and I nodded. "Lance would enjoy being able to speak without having to stumble over his words. I know he still struggles with Kantonian, so I thought that this would be a welcome gift for him." I say, and Elder Oak nodded in understanding. "Well, he is coming over today in about an hour, so you can stay here until he arrives. After all, I have a feeling you two have missed each other more than words can say." Elder Oak said, and I looked at him hopefully. "Thank you, Elder Oak!! Please, don't let Caretaker Delia in!! She'll try to take me away from him!!" I say, and he nodded as he then carefully helped me with the shell necklaces, putting the minature translators in them afterwards that I had wanted. Then, Lance came in, rubbing his head as he sighed, and I instantly noticed how stressed out he looked. "Lance? Beloved? Are you alright??" I asked him softly, running up and hugging him tightly, and he looked at me in shock as I did so before he began to cry softly. "Love!!! Oh, baby!!! I was so worried!!! I thought I'd lost you for good!! Are you alright?!" Lance asked me, and I smiled before pulling him down and kissing him on the lips. "I am fine, My Lance. Better now that we are reunited. Oh! I made this for you! Elder Oak put a translator in it, so that way we can speak normally and be understood no matter what!" I explained, and he smiled at the shell necklace that I had made him, immediately putting it on before he helped me put mine on. After that, we waited for the other trainers while Lance and I caught up with each other, even though we couldn't do much more than that with Elder Oak acting as a cockblock for Lance and I, since he was always checking on us so we didn't mess up his couch.
*When Dah Other Trainers Arrived*
I got a Pikachu since there were more trainers than we had originally anticipated. I then left with Lance, who was hiding the entire time, and proceeded to then run into Gary Fucking Oak. "What the hell?! How do you know Lance, you loser?!" Gary asked me angrily, and Lance immediately had a tickmark at what Gary had called me. "HEY!! DON'T CALL MY HUSBAND A LOSER!!" Lance snapped, and I smiled happily. "Babe, chill. I'm used to it. Come on, let's get going. After all, someone as egostatistical as him is not worth our precious time." I say, and Lance sighed and nodded before we headed off to route one. Needless to say, Lance helped my Pikachu get extremely powerful, very quickly, and then he had to leave because he got a call about something going amis somewhere else in Kanto. "Don't worry, baby. I'm always with you, alright?" Lance said, and I sniffled. "B-but... We... We just reunited today!!" I say, and he smiled before then taking of his cape and putting it on me. I was dwarfed by it, but it was comforting nonetheless. "We'll meet up again at the Lake of Rage, alright?" Lance said softly, and I nodded, tearing up a bit before I kissed him softly. Lance immediately kissed back, and I hummed as we deepened the kiss, only pulling apart for air a few minutes later. "I better go before I end up ravaging that ass of yours, my love~." Lance said, and I giggled before he gave me his number so that I could call him when ever I wanted. "I'll let you know when I get to Viridian, Babe." I say, and he nodded thankfully. "Good. I would probably be worried out of my mind otherwise!" Lance chuckled, and called out his Dragonite before leaving to do his job, casting a glance over his shoulder as I waved at him happily. After he faded away into the distance, Pikachu and I quickly headed off to Viridian City, catching a few more pokemon along the way.
