Sanem knew she would fall sleep if she closed her eyes even for a moment, she was tired but she didn't want to sleep. She had promised herself to stay up and savor every second of her last night with him, even though he didn't even know it.
Can was long asleep, buried his nose in her hair and wrapped his massive arms around her as if afraid she would disappear or someone would take her from him. She, on the other hand, had laid her head on the albatross of his chest and slipped a leg between his, caressing the scar on the other side of his chest. He never made it clear how he got it, but surely it had something to do with one of his many extreme travels around the world. Or at least that's how she explained it to herself. Her eyes fell on the ring she hadn't seen on her hand in a year-the ring he'd made himself from the stones she'd broken, and with which he asked her to be his wife. She loved how it fit on her finger so much... Sanem smiled. And maybe if the circumstances were different, now this would've been just an ordinary night in the life of a married couple. In the morning they would have breakfast together and start the day with a kiss. If only the circumstances were different... "Keşke. . ."
A tear made its way down her face and dripped onto his tattoo. Sanem raised her head slightly to look at him - he was still sleeping, relieved to have her back. Sanem managed to spin in his arms and with her elbow on the pillow beside him stood over his face. The only light in the room was coming from the full moon outside, but that was enough for her because she knew his every feature anyway. For the past few days, she had been watching him from afar, but now she could easily admire her lover without him knowing about it. She raised her other hand and ran her fingers through his beard. She loved doing it. Then, barely perceptible, she moved the hair that had fallen on his face. Then with a gentle touch of her thumb she caressed his cheeks and leaned down quietly to place a slow kiss under his eye. Can shook his head slightly and settled into the bed as she stood frozen until he stopped moving. And just when she thought that had happened, his palm came up and down the length of her bare back, locking onto her hip. Her breath stopped for a few seconds as the electricity he had sent through her body with the touch calm down.
Before she could return to the position she was in - with her head on his chest - Can wrapped his arms around her tightly and turned them over so that they were now lying facing each other, glued together, he had his head on the pillow under her chin, his hand hugging and meeting his other behind her back, one of his legs passing between hers. Sanem didn't dare move again, but she didn't need to because now he was in her arms. The hand she was lying on went under his head and she ran her fingers through his tied hair, while she used the other to admire the curves of his strong biceps.
She still couldn't believe what she had done. What the two of them had done. It seemed too unreal for him to lie in her arms after the wonderful emotions he had given her earlier.
We will miss him...
"I know," she whispered in response to her inner voice
Don't let him go again...
"I have to."
...
Can woke up to some irritating sound that kept echoing in the room and forced him to open his eyes and look around. He got up and found his ringing phone in the pocket of his pants thrown on the floor.
