Episode 48: Bugs Bunny and the Mario Bros Back in Brooklyn
Bugs: (Narration) My big Summer Trip was amazing, to say the least, and it started in my Childhood home of Brooklyn. However, I was not Alone. I traveled with the one and Only Mario Bros.
(Continued) Now that it was summer and I was free to Travel, My family decided it would be cool to get back to our roots. We arrived in Brooklyn after having Breakfast in The Bronx. And that's when we met the Two.
Mario: Hey! Bugs Bunny! Fancy seeing you here!
Bugs: I know, Mario! This is quite a nice surprise, seeing you and Luigi Here!
Luigi: Well, We thought it was a good time to get back to our roots.
Bugs: Well, this time is the perfect time. We'll even visit "Little Italy" of this Place. It's the Least I can do to help this trip be the best it can be.
Mario: Thanks Bugs. We'll even take you to Coney Island. It's open around this time of Year. It's a good time to Visit there.
Luigi: Yeah. Have you had their famous 12" Hot Dogs?
Bugs: Nah. Since I usually eat Vegetables most of the time. But As you see, I love Pizza, as seen on "The Looney Tunes Show", and can eat that stuff, just on occasion.
Mario: I see. Anyways, Let's Get this summer fun Started!
Bugs: Yeah! Let's Start with Coney Island!
Luigi: That sounds good to me, Bugs!
Mario: Me too.
Mrs. Rabbit: Glad we can see it again. We used to Frequent Coney Island when Bugs was about 5-14. We now live in Burbank.
Luigi: What should we Ride First?
Bugs: Let's Ride the Cyclone First, It's the Most Historic, and my Favorite Ride at Luna Park. It's the Oldest Roller Coaster in the United States.
Mario: We can also ride the Wonder Wheel and the Thunderbolt and Swim at the Beach.
Luigi: Yes, We can do that after we Ride the rides.
The Kids board the Cyclone Coaster.
Bugs: This is a trip down Memory lane for me! Here we go!
Luigi: It's scary and fun at the same time.
Bugs: Okay... Here... we... Gooooo!
Kids: Whooaaaa!
Mario: THIS IS AWESOME!
Luigi: I know! It's been so long since we've been here!
Bugs: It's fun! This brings me back priceless memories of when I was really a kid.
Mario: Us too!
Luigi: Of Course, we were calling Brooklyn our home until we moved to the Mushroom Kingdom.
Bugs: This coaster is a classic, it's a good thing that it's still around today as a Historic Landmark.
Mario: Indeed.
After they ride the rides they all wanted to Ride, they head to the Beach and have Hot Dogs
Bugs: We usually had these as a treat along with Ice Cream, me and my family. We loved to relax on this beach and swim in the waters. It's different than Long Beach, Daytona Beach, Miami Beach, and any other beach so I could get the feel of swimming in the Ocean.
Mario: It's a nice and Fun activity to Do, Besides Surfing! Look! There goes Luigi now!
Luigi: Hey, Mario! I'm hanging ten! Fingers, that is!
Bugs: I gotta admit, your brother has a thing for fun, even if he can get a bit scared sometimes.
Luigi: This is Fun! Whoaaaaa!
SPLASH!
Bugs: (laughing) Hahahahahha! Wipeout!
Mario: You okay bro?
Luigi: Yeah. It just Came up and Crashed on me.
Bugs: Let's just relax on the beach.
Luigi: Yeah. Good idea, Bugs.
Bugs: (Narration) And that's what we did. For the Next 7 days, we went around the whole of New York, attending Concerts, Playing in the Parks, visiting the Arcade on Coney Island, and all the things we could do for a whole Week.
(Continued) Getting back to my roots by visiting Brooklyn brought me some really good memories because I got to spend that time with two of my most trusted friends Mario and Luigi, who treated me to a taste of Little Italy, in its Lasagna, which reminded me of a Certain Orange Cat's Favorite Food.
(Continued) Brooklyn had all of my Childhood Memories, including seeing the Lights of Downtown Manhattan from our Hotel Room with a view of the Big City itself. I even got to See the New York Yankees Play. I always love a chance to Cheer for the Bronx Bombers and my new Team, the Los Angeles Dodgers. My Family and I still remember when they were the Brooklyn Dodgers until they left for LA in 1958. Of course, I do because I still remember those days as a Toon Character.
(Continued) Of course, I don't mean to bore you at all. These stories are simply for Entertainment's Sake, and of course, to share with you. The next Destination on my large Summer Tour, was, of course, the land Down Under to see a very good friend of mine. But I mustn't tell you any more... Or I might spoil the Next Story!
