The soft rumbling of the engine was a sound that we all had become used to by how as the van made its way down the freeway. Mark was driving us like he usually did while Joe was up in the front, Ash, Wil, and I were in the back. Wilbur was playing with his Tamagotchi and another one that he had been gifted at one of the earlier shows, "How far away are we Mark?" Wilbur asked as his pet made beeping noises, we had landed in Minnesota mid-afternoon and now we were looking for a place to eat, "Not too long now." Mark replied as Joe changed the radio station.

I leaned back in my seat and rested my head against the headrest, "Something wrong, love?" Wilbur asked, I shook my head and replied, "Just hungry." He let out a soft chuckle and adjusted his t-shirt as he replied, "We'll be there soon." The Tamagotchi started making some beeping sounds again, to which Wil quickly looked down and pressed some buttons, "What is that Wil?" I asked, "Tamagotchi," he replied as he pressed the buttons a few more times, "it's basically a virtual pet you take care of." I watched as the little creature moved about the screen, a small smile played on my lips as I saw how excited Wil got, "I just got another generation going!" He exclaimed, I let out a soft giggle and glanced out the window, we passed by some nearby buildings with their ads plastered onto a large billboard.

Soon we had gotten off the freeway and entered Minneapolis, as we crossed the bridge we all saw some magnificent buildings and a huge lake. "Woah..." I whispered under my breath as I practically pressed my nose against the window, my breath fogged up the glass while my amazement distracted me. Wilbur chuckled at my excitement and stated, "Someone's excited." I gently hit his shoulder and smiled widely as I exclaimed, "Look how cool this place looks!" Ash pulled out his phone and snapped a photo of the skyline, "What should we do first?" I asked, Joe chuckled and looked at me from the rearview mirror as he asked, "What are we, eight?" I smiled a bit, "Just saying," I stated, "we got a whole day to ourselves to go have fun." Mark parked the car nearby a neat looking cafe and we all got out.

The interior of the cafe had a nice minimalist feel to it. It had black shelves lining up the back of the dining area with plants hanging off of them. We had ordered our food and drinks and took a seat in the middle of the area. The plants hanging off the shelves also had vines that surrounded some photos that were on display, the whole place just felt cozy compared to the other places we had eaten at while we were out. "When can we get to our hotel room?" Wilbur asked, Mark looked at his phone and replied, "Around 4 or 5 I believe." Wilbur immediately started looking for things to do around here that wouldn't be too boring.

I think this was the first time zone change that I had actually noticed, we were about an hour ahead compared to what time it was in Colorado, everybody already had jetlag from that but adding to the fact that we couldn't get into our room until this evening, we were just all exhausted. "There's a state park nearby." Wilbur stated, Joe glanced at him and asked, "Are you just gonna talk about Tallulah the whole time?" Wilbur blushed slightly and looked away, "Let him enjoy his egg daughter," I replied, "she already lost a life so he may not even see her when we get back." Wilbur looked at me and mouthed out 'thank you' just as our food was ready. Joe and I got up and brought it over to the table, we distributed it out and began to chow down.

After we had finished eating we began to debate on what to do for the day until we could get our hotel room, "State park." Wilbur stated, "Como Zoo." Joe argued, in the end we had decided that we would split up for the day and have Mark drive over to the park around 3 so we could eat and then make our way back to the hotel. Ash was going to come with Wil and me to the state park while Mark and Joe were going to go to the zoo, Mark drove us over there and dropped us off. I made a pin on my map so we wouldn't get lost while we were out.

Once Mark had drove off Ash, Wil, and I began hiking down a trail. After a while we had ended up at a picturesque landscape where the river had a line of trees behind it, the trees had fresh leaves on them and were beginning to change colours already, Wilbur looked out at the view and smiled, "Did you bring your guitar Wil?" I asked, Wilbur nodded and glanced at me, "Yeah," he replied, "why?" I grinned at him, "You should play a few songs here." I suggested, Wilbur looked over at Ash who nodded in agreement and looked for a place to sit. We found a nice little clearing in the grass nearby the river and we sat down, Wilbur pulled out his guitar and began to tune it, "So," he began, "what songs do you even want to hear?" I glanced over at Ash, he had been awfully quiet today. "Maybe Call Me What You Like?" Ash suggested, I nodded and replied, "Ooh, yeah!" Wilbur chuckled at my excitement and checked the key one last time before he began to play the familiar notes.
