05 : lunch at cafe

Jaeyun is not coming to the office today. To others employees, it's a habit but to Hyejin something is wrong. But she don't want to make a fuss about it so she continued doing her job until lunch.

She look at her phone's screen waiting for any text from Jaeyun but she didn't receive any. Instead, it's Jongseong who text her and asked her to meet him at the cafe nearby. Hyejin immediately agree since she's bored.

Jongseong who was waiting for Hyejin just play a game in his phone. After Hyejin arrived at the cafe she took a seat in front of Jongseong.

“Why did you come here? I guess your beloved girlfriend is busy, right?” she asked and Jongseong quickly nodded.

Jiwon is a hotel manager of her family business. Being the only girl in her family caused her to receive a lot of benefits from her parents. Including the hotel business and she loves her job now.

Even though she always busy and got no time for Jongseong, she always making sure to keep in touch with Jongseong. Gladly, Jongseong is such an understanding boyfriend.

“Are you hungry? Today is my treat so you can order anything you want from this cafe. Come on, before I change my mind.” he said and Hyejin rolled her eyes.

“I'm not hungry, I lost my appetize. You can order anything you want. I come here because I'm bored all alone in the office.” she replied and Jongseong smirked, “aww, Hyejin is boring because her boyfriend is not coming to office.”

“He is not my boyfriend!”

He laughed after seeing Hyejin's reaction. How Jongseong know about Jaeyun, he just happened to be at the same place with Jaeyun this morning. He went to the park and jogging then suddenly he bumped into Jaeyun.

Remember how Jaeyun look at him makes Jongseong let out a loud laugh. Oh, he wish Hyejin was there with him so he can tease Jaeyun a little bit. Since Jongseong is a friendly guy so he greeted Jaeyun.

“Good morning, Mr Jake.”

“Shut up, Park Jongseong.”

Jaeyun walked pass him but Jongseong stopped him. He groaned while pushed Jongseong's hand away.

“What the hell do you want?”

“Is that how you greet back a person who already take care one of your precious thing, Sim Jaeyun?” he asked while folded his arms.

“You should stop jealous of me. Hyejin and I are nothing, I'm a friend to her and she's a friend to me. I bet she didn't tell you about me and Jiwon, yeah, that Jiwon. I just want to say something to you, don't push Hyejin with your past because it won't change anything. Take a smart move, write a better future. If you truly love her.” he patted Jaeyun's shoulder.

“What?” Jaeyun asked but Jongseong just ignores his question, “I'm hungry, let's go eat some breakfast.”

Back to the cafe.

Jongseong's laugh slowly faded out and leave Hyejin confused. She guaranteed something happened but Jongseong don't want to tell her and it's obviously related to Jaeyun. Oh, she wish Jongseong didn't say anything bad to Jaeyun.

If he did–

“Don't worry, both of us almost get into a good term. Wish for your boyfriend's matured mind to think about what I said.”

“What the hell did you do this time, Jongseong?” she asked but Jongseong just act clueless and that's make Hyejin slammed her hands on top of the table.

Jongseong laughed at her reaction, his hand patted her head just like a good dog, “don't worry, I'm not picking a fight with him anymore.”

I hope he's telling me the truth.

Oh, suddenly I'm hungry.

“Since you're not causing other problem suddenly I'm hungry. I want to order something, your treat right?”

“Oh shoot! I shouldn't say that!”

Jongseong jokingly say that but he still stood up and went to the counter to make an order. His actions make Hyejin chuckled.
