Thats not the case with a man by the name of Bobby Singer who was like a father to both Sam and Dean. He always said family don't in blood boy, when it comes to Dean winchester. He's always been there for Sam and Dean like their father has been. And Bobby has always known them as heroes growing up and always will. He even taught them a few things in the business of hunting. We will never forget the time he passed away helping the boys and being there for them and Bobby sure knows they love him as a surrogate to them.
