The wind blew, the bees bussed, and the villagers of the West Kingdom were going about their daily routines. The city was alive and bustling. Up on the hill stood the kingdom's castle, big, tall, and beautiful. It was a red castle with orange accents and green trim.
This world was split into four kingdoms, each with their own rulers and laws. The princess was taught to fear the other kingdoms. Her parents told her they were constantly fighting and all the other kingdoms were mean and ruthless. She was also taught about the kingdom of the East. They were said to have nothing but hatred for their enemies and are the most hot-tempered, heartless kingdom out of all.
From the inside a princess watched the outside world, alive and free. The princess wondered what that world was like. You see, she never saw the outside world, or anything outside of the castle for that matter.
Her world was a magical place. Full of dragons and creatures of every shape and size, well almost every creature. There were dragons, mermaids, goblins, trolls, witches, anything you can think of, but the one thing that never existed was humans. The girl's parents were dragons, but they aren't scally or anything. They look like humans, but with horns and tails.
The girl was a human. Frowned upon by society, her own parents, even her own brother.
Her name is Mystic.
