the Daisy will grow
The heart is full
The light still glows
The flower's beauty
the rain's peace
The heart's content
the light's increase
The flower ages
the rain continues
The heart smiles
the light finds youth
The flower finds a home
the heart finds a companion
The rain steadies
the light resides within
The Daisy lives alongside
the heart rests beside
The light reigns
the rain is kept outside
The Daisy and heart
in perfect stride
The light and rain
assist in their lives
They spend every day
in love and sync
They live in each other
an unbreakable link
Companions of the soul
same in every way
Perfectly made for each
no matter in night or day
The curse of age
that withers one away
The pain of loss
that causes decay
The Daisy fades
the heart stops
The rain pours
the light drops
The heart will scream
the flower will lay
The rain will reign
and the light will go away
Pain is all the heart knows
Dark is all the light knows
Flood is all the rain knows
End is all the flower knows
Life is brief, love is painful
Nothing is for ever, holes are left
companionship will ruin you
but it's worth the chasm in your chest
These lessons were learned
by the heart in full
the Daisy teaching each
