•LAWRENCE, KANSAS. Roadhouse•
Lea is serving people behind the bar, and because of lack of manpower, she has to walk around the place as waiters and waitresses are supposed to do.
“Hey there,” with a towel on her shoulder, cleaning shot glasses, she smiled at a man who raised two fingers to get her attention. “what can I get ya?”-“a shot of bourbon, please.”
“a shot of bourbon coming right away.”
-“mm.. maybe a shot (opportunity) with you, if we're already speaking?”
“nice try, but I'm married.” she said, showing him the ring around her finger.
-“shame... Well, whoever it is, He's a lucky man. Or woman?” she chuckled,
“it's a man. To be honest I think I'm the lucky one to have him. I'm just a mess.”
-“I'm sure you're not.”
“believe me, I've spent enough time with myself to see what I'm like to be around.”
-“well, if you say so...”
“here's your drink. Enjoy” she said with a friendly tone before picking up the waitress plate, heading to table number 5 as the man is looking at her doing so.“here's your order” Lea said, the man & woman thanked her and Lea had a headache, so she stopped where she is instead of walking away. The two people asked if she's okay, she answered positively before walking away.
She was two feet away from their table, and fell to the floor with the plate falling off her hand. “Oh my god-” the woman said before getting up to check on Lea. The man that was with her and the man that talked to her a minute ago came to check on her too, as the rest of the people looked at them all from their seats. The man from the bar took initiative and started telling them what to do and call 911 as he checks if she's breathing, and started doing CPR.
