Dannie was my close friend we all knew she only had 2 years to live and they were up. Dannie was ,diagnosed with leukemia and she was dying right in front of me. We were at St.Luke Hospital down the street from our houses.
" I love you" I heard her murmur. Tears started falling down my cheeks and I couldn't tell if it was a joke because I was so shocked I just didn't know what to say .I quickly ran out the room bursting in tears I ran in the waiting room were I found her boyfriend and mine to. They had this worried look in their eyes. " What happen ! Is she dead !speak to me please! " Jason ( Her boyfriend ) asked.
" No I don't want to see her die ! I won't see her die! God help me! Ahh!" I let out a big burst. The nurse ran in the room took me into an empty room " I'm not crazy let me go ! Jason go to her she's in room 5 hurry!" I yelled across the room still with tears in my eyes. "Excuse me ma'am" the nurse said to me. "Yes" I replied. "Your heart rate is outrageously high and we're going to have to keep you in here for at least the night ,you'll be able to go to school like an normal kid and everything" she said . "Ayeeee Babe come here " hoping he heard me from across the room . He comes rushing in the room "they said they have to keep me here" I said with my voice crackling from the crying .
" Naww bruh they wa ain't talkin bout you cuz yuh ain't stayin here I make the nurse at home keep you" he said. "You heard him get me out these cords ! " I demanded the nurse.
As soon as I got out those stupid cords I ran to Dannie's room to find Jason on the floor hands on his head looking like the world ended.
......She Was Dead......
"Why is this happening to me? " I asked myself . I had to go to school and tell everyone my closet friend was dead. At this point I was no longer sad I was pissed the Fuck off. My boyfriend (Marc) took me home. Paparazzi was already there which pissed me off. I went inside and they threw me a surprise party, yes it was my birthday. I had told everyone to go home because I wasn't in the mood. They understood what I meant so they left. I went to the room upstairs with Marc when I got inside I laid flat on my back. He sat on the rocking chair he looked pretty upset I got up and sat on his lap. "Bae I cherish every second I'm with you ! I love you !" I said as he pushed me off and went downstairs . I sprinted down the stairs behind him. "Bae Bae" I said angrily. "WHAT! WHAT DO YOU WANT EVERY TIME YOUR IN A SITUATION YOU FORGET ABOUT WHAT'S HAPPENING WITH ME! WITH US!!" He yelled. I rushed back upstairs and leaped on my bed and started crying , I really didn't know what to do. Marc was 20 and I was only 17 everyone warned me about older guys but I didn't want to listen.
I heard my phone ring and I just watched it ring as I listen and cry to my ringtone " Don't Cry wipe your eyes he's not dead". I approached it to look and see who it was and it was my friend Qq. " Girl I heard the news I'm coming over right now you must be dying"she said over the phone.
"Ugh at least someone cares" I said sniffling. Not even 10 minutes past when I heard a knock at my door "yo open the door ma" Qq said. "Coming" I said even though Marc sat right there.
"What the world! " Qq said "It seems like ya the dead ones no offense!" She said . "Lol I know and stop I'm suppose to be sad right now" I said trying to hold back a smile. "Let's go upstairs yo it smell like Marc underwear lol " Qq said. "Aye dumb asx' tighten up a Shaniqua get ha asx!" Marc snapped!
