HE HAD GONE FROM wanting to bash her head into a wall, to wanting to bash his own.

After spending a good half hour cleansing, toning and moisturising following by several rounds of face masks, he was confident his skin was restored back to its normal healthy state. He felt a lot better, and thank god he did because he would've truly committed a crime against her if she'd ruined his image on the first day back to school.

But then he returned to his room, only to find Ah-ri was sat on the edge of his bed, examining her reflection in the mirror opposite as she brushed her face with some powder.

"What are you doing?" he snapped.

She met his eyes in the mirror, raising an eyebrow as she stated the obvious, "My makeup."

She'd pretty much emptied her entire makeup bag all over his desk, and had thrown whatever of his had been on there onto the floor.

He took a deep breath. First the American girl, and now this. Ah-ri truly tested his patience like no other.

"Get out." he crossed his arms against his chest.

She tilted her head to the side, pretending to consider his demand before deadpanning, "No."

"You're not allowed to be in our dorm. I'm calling campus police."

"Consider me frightened." she commented sarcastically. "If you're looking for your phone, it's on the floor. My mistake."

"How did you even get in here?"

"I have my ways." she replied smugly, taking the master card out of her blazer pocket and waving it triumphantly in his face.

He raised an unimpressed eyebrow at her, "I'm honoured by the lengths you go to be close to me—"

"Right, because you're such a ray of sunshine."

"—but I don't date my fans."

"Please." she snorted down a laugh. "You jump on anything that gives you attention."

"You sound jealous."

"I'm disgusted." she corrected.

He crossed the room to where she was still touching up her makeup, and yanked on a piece of her hair. She yelped at the sting to her scalp, furiously batting his hand away, and he suppressed his laugh.

He leaned close to her, hot breath hitting the shell of her ear as he drawled, "You're cute when you lie."

Her skin flickered with something akin to ghosted heat, and she hated it. She itched to push him away, and scoffed, "I get even more disgusted when you try to flirt with me."
