Aleister keeps Jake's face from the ground as Jake gasps, then calls out, "Mom!"

Aleister reports, "It was a spell.
"Are you hurt?
"Did you feel anything?"

Jake feels shaky as Aleister brings him back on his feet, "I have to get out of the cemetery."

Jake runs and Aleister stays right with him.

In the shaded grass of the landscape area of the sign, Jake collapses and rests.

Aleister watches him for a bit, "You seem undamaged."

Jake admits, "I am destroyed.
"I'm going to lay here with the rest of the dead until I'm reborn."

Aleister frowns down at him, "We are expected by eight.
"Are you going to take very long?"

Jake laughs and feels obnoxious, "I have no guess how long it takes to be reborn."

"You're only seventeen, should only take a quarter of an hour."

Jake glares up at him, "Go away.
"I'll be eighteen in a few months."

Aleister stretches his neck, "If I go away, I have to take you with me."

Jake huffs and rolls over on his side, "You're fired.
"Now, go away and leave me alone."

Aleister squats and shakes Jake's boot, "You can't fire me.
"Tell me what happened.
"You called out for your mother, it had to be huge."

Jake kicks at him, but with no force, "Shoo."

Aleister chuckles for a minute, then waits quietly.

Jake feels tired and betrayed as he stares at the grass.
He refuses to think and hides from his feelings.

He's no guess how long he's laid there when a truck slams on the brakes and half makes the cemetery's driveway.
Dude shouts, "You! You're supposed to be with Jake."

Aleister yells back, "What business of it is yours?"

Dude gets hostile, "Shove that attitude up your ass.
"Mama wants Jake's ass and she wants it now.
"Every Gonzales is hunting him.

"Shit's going down today.
"Mama's brewing and calling in the tribe."

Jake mutters, "Cause I booty-called Belle?"

Aleister yells, "Why?"

Dude sounds freaked out, "Brandy is powering up for her trade.
"Forecast says, she gonna kill Jake this time.
"She thinks without his grandpa she can.

"We need Jake to track her.
"No one can find Patty.
"Mama thinks Brandy is taking her up Campfire Road to trade her in."

Jake blows air as he gets up, "Stupid girls."

Aleister follows Jake over to the eighty's beat up GMC truck.

Jake lets his annoyance sound, even though its more so for upgraded model of his supernatural tank, "Turn the radio on, Daniel."

He does, "Why? No reception this early."

Jake frowns, "Doesn't matter, it can hear me just fine.

"I'm going camping.
"I will be waiting for a text, letting me know Patty is home safe and Brandy is with Maria Gonzales.

"If it happens fast enough, I will answer the text.
"If not, I will leave the phone in a wash and skip town."

Aleister questions, "But what if they are not listening to that radio?"

Jake turns his hands up, "I'm so done with everything right now, I don't even care."
He points at Daniel, "You go tell your mother, I respectfully decline.
"I will see her when I get back."
