I woke up bright and early this morning. I took a deep breath and jumped out of bed. Tomorrow, I'm going to be going to Hogwarts. I decided that I was going to look at my wand in closer detail. It was a type of smooth, dark wood, and was about 11 inches long. In my opinion, it was beautiful.
I looked over at my clock and realized that I've been staring at my wand for hours. I finally got dressed and walked down stairs.
"Morning Mommy, morning Daddy, morning Braty," I teased Macy.
"I'm not a brat, dummy!" Macy yelled, then stuck her tongue out at me.
I sat down and started to watch T.V with Daddy. He was watched one of my favorite shows, The Walking Dead. Don't judge me, I came from America after all. After the show ended, I went back up stairs to read. I picked up a random book and started to get into it. I snapped out of it when Mommy called me down stairs.
"Lexy, come down stairs, me and Daddy have to talk to you." Mommy called.
"Coming Mommy!" I yelled back. I ran down stairs and tripped one the last step. I fell on my face, hard. Have I mentioned that I am very clumsy?
"Lexy, are you okay? Gosh, before you turn 12, your going to be in a full body cast." Mommy said.
"Yup, I'm fine." I said, hair turning bright pink. It means I'm embarrassed. "What did you want to talk to me about?"
"Well since tomorrow you're going to be going to Hogwarts, we decided that we would get you a little present." Daddy said. Mommy handed me a little box wrapped in camo paper. I took it and ripped the paper. I lifted the lid to the little box and gasped.
"Mommy, Daddy, it's pretty!" I screamed. It was a locket that had a huge AW on the front. I opened the locket and seen a picture of Daddy, Mommy, me, and Macy on one side and on the other, a picture of me and Izzy. It was perfect. "I love it so much Mommy and Daddy! Thank you! And I love you too Macy, don't very forget that."
"You're welcome, Sweetie." Mommy said.
"Live you too, Sissy." Macy yelled, running at me and hugging me.
"Mommy, can Macy spend the night with Luke and Izzy come over here to spend the night?" I ask. "We can take Izzy tomorrow to the train station and Mr. And Mrs. Peters can watch Macy."
"Well, why don't you run next door and ask Mr. and Mrs. Peters if they can come over?" Daddy said.
I nodded and took off running, careful to avoid the holes in the yard, slowed down at the door. I knocked 3 times and the door opened up.
"Why, hello Alexis, how may I help you today," Mrs. Peters asked.
"Well. . . can you all. . . come over. . . Mom and Dad. . . want to. . . talk. . ." I said, between breaths.
"Sure we can. Izzy! Luke! Harold! Come on, we're going to Jimmy and Jeanie's house!" Mrs. Peters yelled. Luke came running out, him and Macy are best friends. Izzy ran up to me.
"Hey! Why are we coming over?" Izzy asked.
"You'll see," I said, making a funny face. Izzy busted out laughing.
"Race you there!" She yelled. And we took off. I beat her even though I had a late start.
"Ha ha, I won!" I screamed in victory.
"Yeah, yeah," she waved it off. Then we both started to laugh.
While me and Izzy were playing around, Mommy and Daddy explained my idea to Mr. and Mrs. Peters. I overheard them say yes, and did a little dance.
"Ahh! My eyes! My precious eyes!" Izzy yelled, talking about my dancing. Yeah I can't really dance either.
"Oh shut it, you'll live. Now you have to go to your house and grab all of your stuff that you're taking to Hogwarts. You're going to be spending the night with me." I said.
"Okay," and with that, she ran off.
When she did come back, we talked for a little bit until we fell asleep. When we woke up in the morning, it was chaos.
"Izzy, I'm nervous." I say. Mommy, Daddy, me, and Izzy were getting in the car to head to the train station.
"Don't be, I'm always right here Lexy. You know that," she said, trying to cheer me up. My hair was turning green again. We arrived at the station and me and Izzy got out of the car.
"We can find the train from here, bye love you!" I yelled at Mommy and Daddy.
"Love you too," they yelled back.
I started to walk into the train station when Izzy stopped me.
"Alexis, how do you know where your going?" She asked.
"I don't, I'm just looking around." I said. Then I spotted the red haired boy from Diagon Alley. "Come on, follow me!"
I ran after the boy and seen that he was with another ginger headed man. Izzy and I walk toward them when I heard one of the adults say "Come on, we don't want to miss the train now do we?" They stopped at a wall between 9 and 10. We are supposed to go to platform 9 3/4 but there was no 9 3/4.
I walked up to the older man with ginger colored hair. "Um, excuse me, but do you know where platform 9 3/4 is? Me and my friend Izzy are completely lost," I said, as sweetly as I could. I noticed that the red headed boy was staring at me and my hair turned bright pink when I looked at him.
"Why yes I do, but may I have your names so that I know you're not trying to trick me? By the way, my name's Mr. George Weasley," the man said.
"Yes sir, my name's Alexis Waters and this is my best friend Isabel Peters," I said quickly.
"Now that's settled, all you have to do is walk through this wall to get to platform 9 3/4. I can get my son to show you where to go if that's fine," Mr. George said.
"U-um, s-sure," I stuttered, I had just got my hair color back to normal, and when looked back at him, it turned bright pink again.
"Okay, all you do is walk straight through the wall. You first Alexis," Mr. George said. I rolled my trunk right in front of the wall, and ran through it. Izzy came after me and then the red headed boy. I went to go ask his name, but he ran off before I could. I looked over at Izzy and seen she was staring at something with her mouth hanging open. I looked behind me and seen a great big scarlet engine with the words Hogwarts Express on it.
"Wow," I said.
"Wow, indeed," she replied. We ran off to get on the train just as it was pulling out of the station.
