Journey Of Desert Chapter 1

"Look, there's a pond. Now we can have water!" a voice shouts with enthusiasm.

"Okay then let's go". Another voice emerges.

Two boys and a girl ran towards the pond with excitement.

On reaching there, they found that there was nothing but desert sand.

Seeing this, they again became disheartened.

"Oh No! I have run out of water."

"Does anyone have water?" The girl from the group said

Just then, a boy with long hair and a short moustache showed a bottle and said, "Here, there is some water, but it will not quench your thirst completely, but you will get some relief."

"Okay, give it to me; I'll make do," said the girl quickly.

After taking the bottle, she emptied the bottle completely in one go.

After this, they continued the journey.

After walking half a kilometer, they saw a man sitting on a camel.

Two other camels were also walking with him.

They went to him and asked him to give them a camel in exchange for the money, but the man refused.

After long bargaining, the other boy in the group was successful in getting a camel at a cost of 18 lakhs.

With the help of the camel, their journey became easier than before. Also, along with buying a camel, they also got some bottles of water and some food, which made their journey a little easier.

Along the way, they see a variety of plants such as agave, fairy duster, aloe vera, yucca, and tumbleweed.
Except for cactus and their varieties like Lisaguaro cactus and golden barrel cactus, they had not seen these plants earlier in their journey.

From time to time, they also saw some animals like musk ox, Bactrian camel, and sand cats.

This time they also saw some dangerous animals like golden jackals, death hunters, Saharan horned vipers and African wild dogs.

They were far away from them and were mounted on camels, so they didn't come within sight of them, and they went further away from them.

After travelling for a long time, they saw a hut-like house at a distance, and they started going towards it.

Suddenly, without any sign, a sandstorm came.
