"Yaaaawn, huh? Who are you?"
I opened my eyes to a sight that quite surprised me. An infinite, black void. There was a grey stone floor about the size of a small room that could be distinguished between the void. More importantly, There was a girl with spring green hair that reached her elbows and she looked to be around my age. She was wearing a long, ultramarine dress embroidered with gold across her sleeves and torso. Quite tiredly (and quite annoyed), she sat there on a throne of black marble with her arms being cushioned by red fabric.
I stood there, confused and unable to say anything "I uh..."

"What's the matter? You interrupted my sleep and you can't even tell me your name?"

" R-right I apologize, I'm Sorace. I'm sorry but where are we exactly and who are you?"

"One question at a time will you?" Wow, this girl was rude "To answer your first question, this place is my "GRAND DOMAIN!" " She really inflected her voice in that part "And my name is Eeuna" Eeuna... It sounded almost alien. It certainly wasn't a name I'd ever heard. "Or so I remember."

"Or so you remember?"

"I have almost no memories at all. I just seemed to wake up one day, I don't even remember growing up or anything. Say, when were you born?"

"19th of December"

"Wow! Same here!" Eeuna energetically jumped out of her throne and sat back down "Wait what? I just remembered that. Maybe I can shake up more memories by asking more questions. What do you do?"

"Well that's vague but to answer your question..." I paused to think. "I'm an apprentice mage, learning under my uncle. So I suppose you could say I do magic. I'm just a beginner and I only know a few basic spells, but Uncle Maugen says I have talent."

"Woah, I'm getting something. I think I might be able to do some magic myself. Tell me, what's your favourite element?"

"Hmmm, I've always been good with wind magic but I'm also partial to thunder."

"Alright, how about this... ego creo nubibus et vocatio Iovem, TONITRUM REPENS" Eeuna stood up and with some hand gestures she summoned a magical glyph in the air that spewed forth a massive spark of electricity that ruptured the very blackness.

"Huh?"

"Sorace, wake up dear" suddenly, it was like that thunder bolt had actually hit me. I was there in my room with my aunt waking me up

"Wha- is it morning already?"

"Of course Sorace. What's that look on your face? Don't tell me you've forgotten."

"I-"

" *Sigh* look just meet me and uncle Maugan downstairs when you're ready dear" and with that my aunt walked off and I took a few minutes for myself

"What a weird dream."
