Felix

"Esme, what are you doing here?" I inquired alarmed by her presence. "You know this girl, Felix?" Sence injected. Without hesitation I nodded sitting back in my seat. "Yes your majesty I do, please take a seat Esme"

She took a deep breath and took an empty seat to in beside me. "How do you know my name?" Tillot frowned rising one of his brows. "Oswin is your cousin and we were engaged to be married"

Tillot beamed. "I remember him saying that he met a girl like you in Crowhurst village. I haven't heard from me like I usually do by letter. How is he doing nowdays?" He gushed overjoyed.

"Is he well?" Esme covering her mouth chocking back her tears. Tillot soon recognised the necklace Esme was wearing across her neck and he knew of his cousin's fate. Causing his face to down dramatically. Tillot's lips trembled "you and Oswain were engaged. Esme, where is he now?"

"He died peacefully after a Shaver slip his throat. Oswin's last words to me was to go Rottingdean and find you"

"And" Esme mumbled "he gave me his necklace as a goodbye gift. I said that I didn't want it but he wouldn't have it" she weeped as more tears ran down above her face.

Tillot took a deep breath as a single tear rolled below his cheek. "That was typical Oswin he could be so bloody stubborn sometimes!"

He couldn't contain his true emotions anymore. Tillot started to cover his hands over his face and proceeded to breakdown in tears.

Tillot started to hyperventilate and dashed out of his seat in a hurry and loud shrieked on his way out of the great hill.

Without a thought in her bones Ryia ran away him to see he was already.

She knew he wasn't but she didn't want him to be along just after the bad news about his late cousin Oswin.

After he cried embracing Ryia for what felt like eternity. Tillot had returned back
to the great hill in one piece with Ryia who proudly stood beside him.

His was quite demure as he and Ryia returned back to their seats. "I'm very sorry for your loss, Tillot" Miriam sympathetic, acknowledged. Tillot nodded wiping his watery eyelids. "Thank you Miriam"

Multiple looks of reassure were pointed in Tillot's direction as a sign of respect for him mourning the tragic death of his cousin.

I gave him a consolable glance before I piped up. "After Prince Hugo's sudden death we all have to be prepared for what happens next"

Esme injected. "If there's one Shaver is the palace there's likely to be more luring among us" Reiss raised his hand. "But how do we know whose a Shaver or who isn't?" He mumbled.

"He's right" Maud agreed. "For all we know one of those could be a Shaver without even knowing" she suspiciously analysed scanning her eyes across everyone sitting at the table.

Edith rested her hand above her chin in deep thought. "That means the Shaver that killed Hugo came in contact with him a few moments before he died" she suggested sitting up in her seat. "But they never appeared to be Shaver at first"

"The Shaver changed its appearance before it killed Hugo" Tillot added optimistic. "And Edith, Tillot and I rushed down into the dungeon The Shaver had turned back into its true form and that when it had killed Hugo"

Miriam spoke unhappily quite tense about the whole situation. "These creatures are going to come for all of us and we no form of an action plan on how we will stop them"

I looked toward Tillot and Edith propped up in my seat. "How did you two killed this practical Shaver down in the dungeon?"

"I stabbed it in the heart" Tillot confessed feeling chuffed with himself. "Several times, Felix" his eyes sparkled glazing in Ryia's direction." Ryia also used her powers to help Edith and i to kill the shaver. But it didn't die at first even after"

Edith Marvelled in delight. "We lured the shaver into Hugo's cell so we could properly have it in our sights before we killed it" she explained resting her elbows upon the table.

I pressed on heavily invested. "So what happened next?" Edith piped up. "I beheaded the creature just after Tillot stabbed it in it's heart" I nodded in approval. "Good work"

"And I" Edith smiled placing an overly large brown sack onto the table. "Still have its head" she unopened the stack to reveal the creature's decapitated head before us.

Sence exhaled a heavy sighed. "Well that settled it. It's time to fight back against the shavers and protect Rottingdean from these horrific creatures once and for all"

We soon interrupted by a loud bloodcurdling shriek emerging from the upper section from the palace.

Ending the emergency meeting a lot sooner then I anticipated too.

Feeling quite alarmed I took my sword from my holster belt and stood at my feet in an instant. Maud, Reiss, Miriam, Tillot and Edith did the same thing.

"Esme stay here with the queen and princess and protect yourselves from harm" I demanded  holding the door of the great hill allowing my follow protecters to change out ready for action.

I ran out of the great hill and reassured the trio of women but before I left. "I'll be right back, I promise" I turned my on heels hurrying out of the great hill.
