"Are you aware that you skipped two of your classes today?" The principal asks, leaning back in his chair. He tightens his black tie and throws a sketchy look at me, completely ignoring the boy standing at the back of the room. He twists his handlebar mustache around his finger and I almost burst out laughing at the moron in front of me.

My eyes travel to the nameplate on his desk, identifying him as Mr. Ward.

What a boring name.

"Uhm... yes sir." I mumble, struggling to keep my voice neutral.

"Things like this aren't allowed at my school! You are to attend every one of your classes unless you're home sick, and that doesn't happen here a lot. You understand that I will not take this lightly, don't you?" I nod, unable to speak because if I try, I'll end up laughing in this guy's face.

The boy behind me, who I assume is named JK, clears his throat and speaks up for the first time since we got here. "Sir, with all due respect, it really isn't that big of a deal. Plus, it's my fault-"

"Did I ask you to speak?" The principal throws a glare at him, before turning back to stare at me. "I'll think about your-"

"Who do you think you're talking to?"

My head turns to the boy leaning against the back wall of the room. The dominance in his voice shocks me as I stare at him wide mouthed.  He raises an eyebrow at the man.

Mr. Ward clears his throat, once again catching my attention. "I'll speak to you later, Summer. You are dismissed."

I quickly get up and grab my bag from the floor before slinging the backpack onto my back. As I turn to leave, my gaze falls onto JK who looks as if he's about to jump across the room and commit a murder.

I almost giggle, but I catch myself and hurry out the door.

The bell marking the end of lunch rings then, and I hurry to my third period.

A Week Later

After my first day at this school, I tried very hard to ignore anyone who tried to speak to me, but there was this one boy. He just didn't know how to take the hint.

We also happened to have the same fourth period class. Just my luck.

Though, I don't mind. He's a very fun person to be around... for the time being.

To my uttermost surprise, I came to find out that JK is in my third period. That day after class started, he walked in with a smile on his face... but when he saw me, it grew into a smirk. I glared at him in response.

He didn't speak to me the rest of the week. He continued going around school with pretty girls. He'd always be flirting with a different one in the halls. Never the same.

Right now, he was with Julia, a blond girl in our class who I first saw in the garden. I knew it wouldn't last, but it still infuriated me that he could just switch between girls so easily. Who does he think he is? Tom Holland? Kim seokjin???

But I shouldn't care, It's not like I have a crush on him. He's too much of a prick.

I'm just a bit infatuated.

Clearly I'm thinking with my brain. I just need a quick fuck.

It seemed he got an easy way out of his "punishment", unlike me who had to stay after school everyday that week for detention. He even came into the classroom once just to wave at me before walking back out with a smile on his face.

I tried not to think of him as much as I could, but my sketchbook filled day by day with drawings of him. The drawings grew increasingly inappropriate too. I'd honestly take my own life if anyone was to ever go through that sketch book. There's no doubt that they'd think I was a pervert.
