The Girl In The Graveyard

" But, where exactly ? " he thinks and slowly enters the bathroom. Again, the sound comes and Sam confirms, " Its not coming from here. "

Then, he enters the kitchen. He looks around carefully waiting for the sound. It comes and Sam realizes it is coming from his bedroom.

He opens the door and stops at bedroom's entrance. His legs were shaking. He wipes sweat from forehead and again hears the knocking. It was loud. He looks at the cabinet. " Maybe its coming from the closet. " he thinks. But, he couldn't gather courage to go and check it.

" What should I do ? " he thinks. The loud knocking sound comes again. " Oh Shit ! " he murmurs, after realizing where it was actually coming from. He was numb. " Don't look up ! Don't look up ! Don't look up ! " He couldn't even breath. The sound comes again and Sam sprints to the main door screaming, " DAMN IT ALL ! "

" Damn it ! I left the door unlocked. " says Sam slapping his forehead. He looks around. He was sitting alone in the church. He looks at the statue of Christ and thinks, " It was definitely a bad idea. I'll have to wait here for the morning. " He starts scrolling photos of his family and friends, remembering those good times.

" People usually don't come here at this time. " says someone from behind.

" Oh Jeez ! " Sam screams. He looks behind with eyes wide opened.

" Sorry ! Did I scared you ? " says the person.

" I didn't saw you coming, good evening Father ! " says Sam bowing to the old man.

" May the lord be with you... Mind if I sit here ? " says the Father. Sam moves to give him the space and both sits together. Father says, " Never saw you here before. "

" It's my first time coming here. " says Sam in low voice looking downward.

" Everything alright ? " asks Father. Sam nods with gloomy face. " Well ! Your look says otherwise. You should be sleeping in your house at this time. " says Father.

" There's problem in my house right now. " says Sam. He continues, " I just want to stay here for a while. "

" Running from the problems, I see !..... But, they always finds their way back. Facing them is the only way. And sometimes, the answer to the problem is hidden in the beginning. " says the Father patting Sam's shoulder. Then, father leaves him to peacefully think what he'll do next.

After thinking a lot, Sam decides his next move. He checks the time. It was around 4:00 AM. He comes outside and looks at the sky. The sun was about to rise.
