IRIS ANGELICA READ was not short of privilege. The girl had grown up with her fairly rich scientist parents and brother Oscar Read who was newly immerging into the acting industry. Time and time again, Iris lay awake letting her mind run free as words formed beautiful waves of music. Her room was littered with failed ideas and hopeless dreams. She would lay her head on her pillow and let the melodies take over her heart and soul; only to wake up and have her heartache with the failure and disappointment she creates for herself.
It isn't until she meets the freshly inherited billionaire, Avery Kylie Grambs, that the incoherent melodies form words on paper. Iris can finally reassure herself that her once dreams could actually become a reality. However, before she gets there, she has to accompany her friends and play Tobias Hawthornes' Inheritance game.
