"Auch!"

"Stay still."

"Slowly Hyejin that's hurts!"

"I'm just cleaning it first Jaeyun."

"It's still hurts!"

Jaeyun bite his lower lip meanwhile his hand holding Hyejin's wrist. The girl treating the wound right under Jaeyun's left eye. The wound seems like a freshly cut and no one try to treat it.

Carefully, Hyejin applied some antibiotic ointment on the wound and this time Jaeyun hissed because of irritation feeling on his skin. He shut his eyes tightly.

"Shh, shh it will get better soon. Let me put a bandage plaster first." she softly whispering meanwhile her finger slipped through the male's blond hair.

"Make it quick, please." he pleading with his teary eyes.

Hyejin covered the wound with a plaster and Jaeyun can breath properly now. It's still hurts but at least someone has treat his wound now.

"Thank you, Hyejin."

"My pleasure to help you."

She keeps the stuff into the plastic and put it inside her car. After that she went back to Jaeyun who silently sitting while looking at the ocean. She took a sit next to Jaeyun and took a deep breath.

"Something had happened, am I right?" she asked at the same time unwrapped the burger.

"Yes, you're right." he replied and started to take a bite of the burger.

Jaeyun lost his appetite to eat infact he can't eat anything because of what happened to him. As Hyejin already know, he got an issue with his mom but Hyejin don't know how far and how worst his mom's anger could go.

The middle age lady turned into someone else when she saw Jaeyun in that house again. Afterwards, the same thing happen again and again until Jaeyun don't know when it'll stop.

"What the hell are you doing here?"

"I told you I don't want to see you in this house!"

A bitter smile formed on his face. He wrapped the burger and put it back into the plastic. Hyejin immediately stopped munching her burger when she noticed that Jaeyun was spacing out.

Her warm hand reached his and interwines their hands. Jaeyun turned to look at Hyejin.

"Why are you help me, Hyejin? My own mother don't want to see my face anymore. Why are you stay and still want to give a second chance to me? You know a jerk like me doesn't deserve you. Why, Hyejin?" he asked holding his tears.

"You told me, your mom said, I deserved a second chance. If I deserved it then why not you?" she answered it with a warm smile.

"She didn't lie about that but why she never give me a chance? I'm not like my dad, I will never be like him! I used to hurt you but now I'd learned from my own mistake and I will not repeat it again. But, why she hits me for no reason? Just because I look exactly just like me dad so she can let out her anger on me?" he looked down so Hyejin won't see his teary eyes.

And Hyejin, closed their gap and pulled his head into her shoulder. Jaeyun immediately wrapped his arms around Hyejin's waist. They shared each other's body heat in that hug.

God, what exactly happened?

Why did he turned out to be like this?

Why it's only me who got a better life but not him?

I already forgive him so please stop hurts him.

I beg you, please, help him!

"You can tell me everything, Jaeyun. I'm here for you and I'm ready for you to lean on. I will not judge you and your problem. I promise you, Jaeyun." she cupped his face as she said that to him.

"Hyejin..."

A soft kiss landed on his forehead. Hyejin kiss him, on the forehead. Jaeyun was stunned to speak but he just let it be. The kiss make his body become a little bit warmer that before.

"I am your friend. Friends share their problem, right? Today, I will listen to your problem but sooner or later you'll listen to mine. Alright?" he got overwhelmed with her words.

"I don't want to go home. She got frustrated after she knows about our dad's mistress. She was hella mad with me because of how I look. I thought she already let it go but everytime I go home she will scold me if I stay there. Sometimes she slap me, worst if she hit me. Like today."

He put his head on her shoulder not waiting for her answer. He don't want to go home. He want to stay like this with Hyejin.

"Can we not go home?"

"Just tonight, Hyejin."

"Please?"
