When Earth was created into existence, the Holy Emperor crafted living beings of different attributes and sent them down to Earth. As the living beings found their way to survive, they eventually formed a hierarchy amongst themselves. The different living beings found similarities and differences between themselves and constructed the concept of Races.

The most prominent race that emerged from this were the humans. Compared to the immortal lives that Demons have, a human who only has 100 years to live were thought to be as weak as a speck of dust. However, their strength was proven to be as equal as any other magical races as these humans were able to awaken their inner soul energy. This was a gift from the Holy Emperor in exchange for their short lives.

As time passed, the resources of Earth dwindled and the different races commenced a war against each other. The destructive powers eventually destroyed Earth and the remnants of Earth emerged as five floating islands.

Each of the floating island is commanded by a singular race and one of those islands were dominated by humans. The human island was named Terra by the strongest warrior who had defended the island against the other races to her last breath.

In commemoration of the warrior, Terra was not commanded by a singular royal family but instead it was protected by the Nijisanji Guild. The Nijisanji Guild was originally meant for human adventurers but eventually they accepted any interested applicants as long as they swore to not harm the human race.

It was an attractive occupation especially amongst half race beings as they were not accepted by their non-human families.

In the guild itself, adventurers are ranked with SS being the highest and newbies starting with an E rank. As of now, there were only five SS rank members and two of them were currently sitting in the Guild Master's office.

In the office, two SS rank adventurers sat together on the sofa with the guild master on the opposing side. The guild master placed a document on the low table and a blonde haired man leaned forward to take a closer look at what was written.

The man had smooth hair that reached his shoulders and was not bound to any hair accessories. He wore a black shirt that outlined his well built body and the sleeves were rolled up to his elbows.

His eyes were a beautiful shade of purple and if one were to look closely, his eyes had lost its focus. His hands that were adorned by black leather gloves trembled as his fingertips touched the document.

On the document, there was a portrait of two men and he could sense of familiarity tugging at his heart. He picked up the document with both hands and the paper wrinkled at the immense pressure. The man's lips trembled and his eyes were moistened which blurred his vision. It was only then that Luca Kaneshiro had regained memories of his past life.

He recalled that he was a mafia boss in the year 1969 and while being chased, he was teleported into the future. Eventually, he became a VTuber and was part of a family called Luxiem. He remembers his memories with his mafia members that he spoke through chat and the memories he shared with Luxiem.

"Luca...?" A gentle and feather-like voice next to him brought Luca back to reality.

Luca loosened his grip on the documents and turned his head to the left. His childhood friend was looking at him with a concerned look. For a moment, he had imagined his friend with a pair of glasses but after a while, his friend had looked at him without a visual aid. His friend, concerned about the lack of response, placed his hand on Luca's arm.
