Peridot: Hmm. So that's Bort? Not as scary as the legends said. I've never seen or heard of a Bort until now. There isn't any detailed data on the gem. Perhaps if I'm lucky I can examine . . . Him? Apparently he prefers to be referred to as a he unlike other gems. Even taking on a more masculine form. Unknow as to why.
Bort: You know I can hear you right?
Peridot jumps back trying to recover.
Bort: Also I don't take a female appearance because it just doesn't feel comfortable. . . . I did have one, but it was harder to maintain. So I wasn't as strong as I am now.
In a flash of ight, your body began to change as you look back to Peridot who's mouth is agape at the form before her.

Bort: Gah. I hate that form.
Peridot: So, you take this masculine form because. . .
Bort: It's easier, comfortable, and it's how I looked at birth. Homeworld preferred me in THAT body, because apparently I looked. . . beautiful. But enough about that. Why were you in a rush to get away from the gems? We could have killed them all if we stayed.
Peridot: Because! I am only here to check progress on the cluster. A simple get in and get out mission. But the homeworld pad is broken! And I'm stuck here!
Bort: . . . Hmm. So this cluster. Is it like a weapon?
Peridot: It's a mass cluster of shards of thousands of different gems in the earth's core. Once it activates, the planet is done for.
Bort: . . . Huh. I guess that is a problem. . . So, how can we get off of this planet with no homeworld warp pad.
Peridot thinks it over until she get's an idea.
Peridot: We need the Steven.
Bort: For?
Peridot: Some time ago he made contact with a Lapis Lazuli gem and fixed her crack somehow. He has this "healing" power. Maybe he can use it to fix the Homeworld warp pad.
Bort: Okay, then I'll help you. But after it get's fixed, we kill the rest of the Crystal Gems.
Peridot: Agreed.
You move over to Peridot and rest your head on her shoulder.
Peridot: Ummm. . . What are you doing?
