After having my right arm casted, I went straight to see how my classmate, Min-Hee, was doing. Her dad and brother were standing outside of her room. They were giants.
"M-Mr. Kim, my name is Dae-Jung. I'm Min-Hee's classmate. F-from the bottom of my heart, I want to apologize for injuring Min-Hee on the street. I'll pay for all her hospital bills."
Her dad grabbed my shoulder. I flinched. I thought his firm grip would squeeze the soul out of me.
"It was an accident, Dae-Jung."
I opened my eyes with little relief.
"I-I'll still pay her medical bills, sir."
I thought that her dad shove me up the wall and demand recompense for Min-Hee's injury. Instead, Mr. Kim introduced the rest of the Kim family. Min-Hee's family is so down-to-earth that I felt a pinch in my heart.
"I'm sorry, Min-Hee. I'm really sorry."
"D-Dae-Jung, I'm okay!"
Oh God, I've caused so much trouble.
