(CHAPTER ONE) Just the begining. The wheatgrass is longer than a week ago, the sun goes down faster than NightSpear does catching deer, and EnderPaw is slowly losing hope in the river Clan. The spirit that used to be in everyone faded away days ago. BlossomTop is hopping through the wheat-like grass when she sees a large crowd of cats crowding around SandStar. "What happened to SandStar?". The cats all went silent. "He has been injured by the Shadow clan." Said FrozenFelt. BlossomTop froze. Her paws were shaking. She sat down, gently, not to hurt him anymore than he was. his entire side had been scratched. He started to speak as he saw her. "Don't worry, BlossomTop will take great care of all of you...". A shock went through her fur. She had joined the deputy as of her father and had told her that she was going to become the leader after his older brother died. Her stomach was aching, an unsettling feeling. The medicine cats were coming and going, grabbing leaves to bandage up the wounds, grabbing herbs left and right. They were trying their hardest, but they could not give him the medical attention he needed. A few moments later, he had sadly died. * BlossomTop was now officially the leader. "May I go out beyond the barriers to hunt, Miss Blossom? The population of deer and rabbit might reduce if I don't." This was the first time for a cat to ask to go hunting without a greeting or offering, for Blossom, at least. "Yes, but please have backup just in case a larger animal tries to attack, or a clan comes to start a battle". BlossomStar said this very carefully to the young warrior. She didn't want to screw up her first order." "Yes ma'am!" She was sitting on the rock, and for some reason, she felt like she didn't belong. A calm breeze whipped upon the autumn sky, with orange and red leaves swirling around the sky like seaweed in the ocean. She had not realized that she was being summoned. "Blossom! You must go over to the edge of our clan!". That same stomach feeling came back, and worse. She was nervous that they were going to go out of their comfort zone. The whole gang was there, which put even more pressure on her. She had the best of the best following her, and that was NightSpear. He is an extraordinary hunter, perfect at where the easiest animals were at, and all the other cats that were warriors admired him. "Catch up, Blossom, real leaders DON'T scurry behind, or leave others.". * Once they reached the edge, Blossom was frightened, but determined for her clan, to never give up. The trees were no more, same with the happiness that used to be thrown around each corner, field, even the in the morning, were no sunshine shown, was a peaceful feeling. "We're here, clan.". "Hello, small, pathetic, selfish clan." He had a slight grin on his face. He was a cat with a black, gray, and white gradient cat with two scars on his side, stitched up, not professionally, like another cat did it. He was very fluffy, and his name was RavenBlood. "Why you-," BlossomStar tried to pounce on him but with no effort he dodged her with that same look. BlossomTop rolled on the trampled grass, tumbling while doing a drift with her feet, standing up. "You try, but for what? Nothing. That is your answer, Nothing." He was circling her like a vulture, waiting to swoop down and attack his prey. BlossomStar Slid down the dirt-grass mixture, and leaped for his neck, gripping hard. He swung her back and forth, until he threw her in a tree. At this point, blossom stood no chance, and he slowly walked over, until he was above her. "Good try, I'll give you that, but you can't beat me." You could hear Blossom's sharp breaths and her scaredness through her fur. *                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  (CHAPTER TWO)The million dollar question. Both clans were silent, and very still. Then, suddenly, NightSpear jumped Infront of BlossomStar and growled at him. He hadn't seemed frightened at all. He turned around and wacked NightSpear lightly. He didn't appreciate that. "Let's go, I'm already sick of this.". The others agreed, so she left with them. "I'm Surprised." "What do you mean?" "He didn't hurt me, why?" she sighed. She didn't understand why he didn't hurt her, besides the tree slam. She walked a little slower to think harder. She wondered, and the harder she thought, the more it didn't make sense. She stopped walking. "S-Sorry, let's keep going." Once they got to their home, it was sundown, the sky looked like sherbet, with little marshmallows for the clouds. She laid down on the soft leaves, the sticks making a roof over them so no rain would flood in. "Meow, meeeooow. Meow.". "Now hush kits, we have a busy day tomorrow." They kept scurrying around, meowing like crazy. Eventually they stopped, and all curled up in little balls. "Excuse me?" It was AppleLint. She was whispering, not to wake up the kits. "Yes, what do you need?" "I'm cold." "Well, I can fix that!" BlossomTop came out and went through their extra Leaves. "Here you go!" She handed over a large fern to use. "Thank you, ma'am." "No problem, it's my job after all!" She giggled at her joke and paused. She had a welcoming face, like her dad came back. "Good night, little one." * (CHAPTER THREE) The mission. It was early in the morning, it had rained last night, so the sun shone on the dew on the wheat-grass. She had been awakened by the sound of the crying kits, so loud. She hadn't even opened her eyes and she was needed for something. "Miss, we need you for a patrol." "Okay...but I'm tired...." "Doesn't Matter!! You are a leader now! You'll have to get use to that." He said this in a very loud and mean tone, but doesn't he always? "Okey doke." BlossomStar got up and slowly started to walk. Her fur was ruffled and looked like she had just been structed by lighting. "What happen to you?!" Said SoftFern. She was her best friend, and deputy. "You've been my friend for 13 moons, and you haven't seen me in the morning?" "Um, no. Duh. That's why I asked." Blossom looked at her with a face that looked like SoftFern had just eaten glue. They both started to laugh. "Shush." SoftFern stood blank-faced. "You do remember I'm the leader." EnderPaw Froze up. "Oh, y-yeahhhhh, :P" she had been good friends with SandStar, and always forgot she wasn't lead. The two cats stood blank-faced. "Anyways, Goodbye SoftFern. See, ya!" * BlossomStar had to meet by the rock. She was there early, so she started fiddling with a red flower. At about 3 minutes later, other cats started waiting around the rock and everyone showed up. "Listen, we need to go in the forest, we need more food". Ever since BlossomStar had become a leader, she had felt that she was getting little respect. NightSpear started to speak. "Why do we need to bring lead?". He sighed. "We can't afford to lose another cat." Blossom started to become weary. She felt cold drops hit her back. "Rain?" said NightSpear. HazelBlank gasped. "It's snowing!" The cats looked up. They had been so worried about their mission that they didn't even notice. "If only SnowyTail was here, right?" All the warriors stopped. They remembered her, she was an energetic cat, a shy cat but if you messed with HazelBlank, she would attack them. He looked up at the sky, as if he could see her in the clouds. "The way she would have done anything for me." Hazel said this in a quiet voice. "I miss her," Crash! "What in the world was that?!" EnderPaw was missing. "EnderPaw?" "We have to go back; the snow is horrible!" said NightSpear. * The snow had progressively gotten worse. "EnderPaw!" She was leaning against a rock, unable to stand up. Blossom had seen that two clan members of the shadow clan were holding her, trying to help her stand up. "She has a severe wound on her thigh," said one. "We could help you, if you wanted." None of the cats hesitated to ask for help. "Please." The shadow clan cats were in the back of herd, to help stabilize EnderPaw so she wouldn't fall. Once they got to the river clan, the two cats smiled and walked away. A Whooshing of snow piled around the trees and clumped on the rocks. Blossom ran to the kits. "M-Meow-w, Mm-meeeooow". The kits purred with shaky voices. "How are they doing?". "They're
