Winter cuddled up to Qibli, his warm scales felt good against Winter's cold scales. Qibli purred as Winter cuddled up to him, "Hey Qibli, is this weird?" Qibli smiled and said "Yeah, it is a bit but it's nice, Winty." Winter purred back at Qibli.
Suddenly they heard a set of talon leading up to their hut, it was Queen Glory, "We have good news, we found Icicle an-.... am I interrupting something?" Qibli quickly replied "No, but you did just ruin my cuddling by saying that." Winter got up quickly and asked where Icicle was, he wanted to see her at least.
Winter and Qibli started toward the hut that queen Glory said Icicle was in. Moon and Kinkajou joined them, as Moon said "I could possibly look at Icicle's dream and find out where Scarlet is." Winter felt a rush of joy, he would soon have everything, Qibli as his husband and he'd rescue Hailstorm.
Winter held in his smile, he wore a serious face, he didn't want anyone to see him this happy, besides maybe Qibli. Qibli suddenly kissed Winter in the cheek, Winter rolled his eyes, Qibli won the bet and deserved to take his reward.
Winter was the first to enter the hut, Icicle was knocked out cold. Her scales look burnt and scarred, it was the worse shape Winter has ever seen her in. Qibli clearly saw Winter's worry as he said "Don't worry, I'm sure she'll be fine, just relax, everything will be fine."
Winter have Qibli a gentle smile and said "I hope you're right, Sand lizard." Qibli gently punched Winter in a lovingly way. Winter looked over and saw Moon drawing something on a paper as Kinkajou watched. Winter looked back at Qibli as he thought of Hailstorm.
"Qibli... do you think Hailstorm will support our relationship?" Winter asked nervously. Qibli smiled and said "If he's anything like you he'll think I'm amazing, but if he's more like Icicle he might kill me." Winter laughed slightly and said "Don't worry Sand lizard, Hailstorm is quite kind, and he would probably like you."
Qibli smirked and said "I hope he does, he'll probably be surprised to hear you're gonna marry a handsome and stunning sandwing like myself, he'll probably be so happy for you!" Winter rolled his eyes and said "Yeah, I'm sure he'll think you're amazing."
Moon walked up to them and said "We think we found where Scarlet is, but we don't know exactly where." Winter looked at the paper, it was a mountain range, but he didn't know where, maybe they could ask that assassin nightwing, Deathbringer.
