There were no more peaceful nights for Yoongi after what had happened. When he opened his eyes he could still see in his memories the great headline of the news and newspapers: "Famous billionaire executive involved in infidelity scandal."

He wasn't a coward, he always faced all the problems, but... It became tedious to receive looks that lowered his mood almost daily. Determined to change his spirits a bit, he continued with his daily routine of hygiene, clothing and food before receiving the notice that his driver had arrived in front of the building where he lived.

— Good morning, Mr Min.

The black-haired man was surprised that there were no reporters in front of the main entrance. Not even when he arrived at work, it's as if his fame had vanished and he was just any employee, even though the dealings within the establishment were what he was used to.

How weird. Why was no one talking about the incident? Were they unaware of the news or were they just hiding so they wouldn't get fired?

That restlessness was present during his day until it was briefly interrupted by a very familiar voice.

— Good morning, Mr. Min. I have brought your coffee and the documents that you have requested for today's meeting. — Jimin was quite calm as if there was nothing out of the ordinary.

That feeling of "tranquility" was very abrupt, even the oldest felt that it was not the same reality.

— Jimin, what's going on?

— Hmm? What do you mean?

— The news... Shit, didn't anyone see what happened or say anything about Taehyung? Not even the reporters are here.

— I thought you hated the press and those reporters... — the boy replied ironically.

Before leaving, he laughed and wavered a bit.

— I don't know, maybe they found something more interesting. Like... A bigger scandal. Maybe something or someone scared them away. — He moved a little closer to speak lower. — Don't ask if you don't want to know the answer.

And there he was, alone again in his office. The black-haired guy couldn't say anything because of how surprised he was and he looked at the cup of steaming coffee and the finely arranged papers. He just smiled and maybe he was just exaggerating.

Yoongi always praised Jimin's way of being, a carefree but skillful boy, always with an admirable willpower and the ability to always smile. Sometimes he thought that Jimin had what he lacked but he was too proud to admit it. And when they first met, Jimin was quite shy and didn't smile much; he rarely talked about himself and avoided being alone with Yoongi at all cost, he was somewhat clumsy and kept stuttering.

He thought about how much he had grown and matured, even helping him out of his own hands. It could only feel like a friend.

And those who knew the real Yoongi were very few people, he had the misfortune of being an intimidating person for others and having received a lot of demands from his parents.

But that didn't stop him from being a bit "himself" at work.

(Later)

— Very busy? Do I bother you? — Yoongi played with a plant on his assistant's desk watching his absolute concentration until he spoke.

— I don't know, sir. Do you think it bothers me to talk to you?

— I see that you don't, you love me very much. That's why I keep what I promised you.

Jimin raised an eyebrow and took off his reading glasses.
