9. Back in Danger Force

AMANDA'S POV

So it's been two weeks since me and Chapa kissed. But she's been ignoring me ever since. It's getting really annoying. Anyways, Danger Force is back together. Without Chapa because she said she needed time to think about it. It's now like 10 PM and I'm in my bed scrolling through my phone when I suddenly get a text from Chapa. I open the text.

I put my phone down and go to bed. Thinking about her and why she'd want to meet me. I woke up to my alarm ringing. I pushed it down to stop it from making noise. I groan as I don't wanna get out of bed. But I have to because of school. So I grt up and get ready making sure I have everything I need. I then go down to the Man's kitchen to make some breakfast. Oddly enough no one's there. Not thinking much of it I start making breakfast for myself. I finish making my breakfast and then sut down to eat it. Once I finished I put my dishes in the sink and went to my room to go get my bag. As I walk in my room I get my schoolbag and walk out again. Then I go to the Man's Nest and go down the tube.

At school

I arrive at Swellview Junior High and see Chapa, Mike Miles and Bose all talking to each other. "Hey guys." I said walking over to them. "Hey Mandy!" Mika said in a super engergetic voice. "Hey." The two boys said in usion. I then looked at Chapa but she looked down not saying anything. I brush it off because she wants to talk to me after school anyway. Then the bell rings and we all head to class.

Time skip to lunch

We were all sitting at our lunch table with our trays of food. People around us are talking non stop. The others were all eating but I was just picking at my food.Bose noticed this as he was sitting next to me. "Hey, you okay?" He whispered to me so that the others wiuldn't hear. "Hm, Oh yea, I'm fine." I said hoping he would believe me. He clearly didn't but just let it slide.

After school

School was finally finished and I was walking to the layer. I know that I can teleport but I don't really do that unless I have to. I get our layer to see Chapa looking kind of stressed. "Hey..." I said while walking into our main area and sitting down on the couch. "Hey..." She said sitting down next to me. "So, you wanted to talk to me?" I said waiting for her to say why she wanted to talk to me after ignoring me for two weeks. "First of all I wanna say sorry for ignoring you. I shouldn't have done that." She said waiting for an answer. "Okay, I forgive you." I said slowly. She looked relieved. "And second of all I'm gonna... join Danger Force again." She said. I looked at her shocked standing up and walking around muttering things while she sat down on the couch and watched me. "Why would you do that?" "You said you wouldn't." "You said you didn"t like it there." "What's gonna happen with Voltine." "If you join Danger Force and I commit a crime we will fight each other." "Will you tell them that I'm Agrona?" And with that question I stopped talking and looked at her. She stood up reassuring me. "Look, they need me there and we'll probably fight each other but if it's just us i'll let you go." I looked at her sad that we weren't partners in crime anymore. "If it makes you happy." I said still a bit sad. She then hugged me saying. "Thanks." I didn't say anything and after a while of hugging I went back to the Man's Nest.

I got up the tube to see Danger Force. Of course they have to be here, they're always here! Now, I was just in a really bad mood but I didn't want anyone to notice. I just went to my room not saying anything even though my friends are greeting me.

CHAPA'S POV

Amanda came up the tube and just stormed off to... probably her room. "What's with her today?" Mika asked. I just shrugged knowing the real reason she's upset is because I'm back in Danger Force. I mean I know she didn't like it but I didn't think it would've been this bad. Lost in my thoughts I don't even know what everyone else is talking about. But my trail of thoughts stop when I hear the emergency alarm go off. God, please don't be Amanda. Mika walks over to the chair to check what's happening. "Looks like Agrona's at it again." Mika said. Really, Amanda. We popped some gum and went to fight Amanda. When we got there Amanda or Agrona was just standing there. She wasn't doing anything, just looking at her nails not acknowlaging us. She then looked uo from her nails looking at us. "Oh hey Danger Force." She said smiling. Making me think she set up a trap. "Why are we here, she's not even commiting a crime!" Captain Man said nagging. "You're right I'm not but I do have a little announcement." She said, she looked at me. I got nervous thinking she would tell them I was Voltine. "What's it I have things to do." Ray said. I got even more nervous and started bouncing my leg. "Voltine... she moved away, so you're stuck with only me now." She said. I was glad she didn't tell them it was me. "Okay let's go now Danger Forces." Ray said and they all started to leave. "Actually, I think I'll stay for a bit." I said. They all turned around and looked at me, they then said okay and all left. I sat down on a bench that was there, Amanda then came and sat next to me. "Hay, uuh thanks for not ratting me out." I said. "I would never." She replied. "Just know next time there will be an actual crime." She continued. We both laughed, I liked spending time with her and I think she does too. We talked for a bit untill we both decided we should head back to the Man's Nest.

She was about to leave when I took her hand stopping her. "Wait!" I said. She turned to look at me a bit confuzed. "What?" She questioned. I pulled her closer, we looked in each others eyes. I put my hands on her waist and passionatly kissed her. We then pulled away and I left with a smile on my face meaving her stoned by what just happened.

AMANDA'S POV

What just happened. CHAPA KISSED ME AGAIN! Why does she do this. I mean, I'm not complaining but she confuses me. Like are we friends of more. I'll talk to her tonight.
