Clotho jumped up to the sounds of loud knocking on her door.

"Clotho get up!" Clotho heard Persephone's voice screech.

Clotho groaned as she groggily made her way to the door. Persephone burst through the door with the biggest smile on her face.

"Get dressed in something pretty, you're going on a date with Hubris!" Persephone squealed out.

Clotho should've known that when her mother's happy about something, it's not going to be good for Clotho. Persephone rummaged through Clotho's closet but then groaned in disgust.

"You need a new outfit." Persephone commented as she grabbed Clotho's hand and led her to the east wing of the palace.

"I'm not even fully awake and she's already giving me shit." Clotho thought to herself.

The tailor went to work on Clotho while Persephone used her magic to fix Clotho's hair.

"And lo, it is done." The tailor announced.

Clotho looked into the mirror to see herself wearing a pink flowing dress that went down to her ankles and was covered in white flowers and her hair done up in a french braid. Persephone squealed as she admired her daughter's look.

"Oh, you look so precious." Persephone coo'ed out as tears began to flood her eyes. "And then within a few days, you're going to be in a wedding dress."

Clotho sighed as she remembered that her wedding was going to be within 3 days. Clotho accepted her fate, fully acknowledging that she doesn't have that much of a choice.

Clotho made her way down to the front doors to see Hubris standing there with the biggest smile on his face.

"My, my, don't you look ravishing." Hubris commented.

Clotho raised her eyebrows, surprised.

"Hmm, he's giving a compliment to me." Clotho thought to herself.

"But with me by your side, I look like I could be the talk of the town." Hubris continued.

Clotho frowned.

"Annnnddd there it is." Clotho thought to herself.

"Come my dear, our chariot awaits." Hubris ordered as he grabbed Clotho's hand and led her to the stagecoach.

During the ride, Clotho began to think about yesterday.

"Why did Lida disappear the minute Cerberus came up?" Clotho thought to herself. "I wonder how she's doing right now."

"Are you thinking about me over there?" Hubris asked.

"Yeah, I'm thinking about smothering you in your sleep." Clotho replied.

"With those thighs of yours I'm assuming." Hubris chuckled out.

"Goddamn pervert." Clotho muttered to herself.

The stagecoach stopped in front of a nice cafe.

"One thing about Hubris is that while he's full of himself...at least he ain't cheap." Clotho thought to herself.

Clotho still wasn't happy with the idea of going on dates or getting married to her ex. Hubris noticed her sulking.

"Why so sour Claw?" Hubris asked.

Claw was a nickname he had given her back when they were together.

"Don't call me that..." Clotho demanded. "...and you really think that I wanna be here, I don't."

"Awww don't be like that." Hubris coo'ed out. "I'm sure after we get married you'll feel better."

Clotho slammed her hand down on the table.
