spencer was walking into work like he did everyday but something caught his eye. it looked like some suspicious activity was going down across the street from his home. he trembled, feeling unsafe, he kept his eye on it, making sure what he was seeing was real and not just a figment of his imagination. as he watched them, thoughts went through his head of what to say when he got into work, if he should say something? he could always just be overreacting.
since his mind and eyes were elsewhere, he wasn't concentrating. all of a sudden he bumped into something. someone. "o-oh i'm so sorry ma'am. please forgive me." he spoke nervously. his satchel fell off his shoulder onto the pavement. "hey don't worry about it, i wasn't paying attention either." she straightened her clothes out quickly. the mystery girl looked up and they made eye contact.
her breath hitched as she looked up at him. he had gorgeous brown eyes with golden specks sprinkled in his iris'.
while she stared into his beautiful eyes, he felt a heat rushing to his face.
"hey, not to be weird or anything but did you see anything going on on the other side of the road?" he spoke without realising, his eyes still trained on hers.
"oh uh no i didn't notice why?" she replied still unable to process how beautiful the man stood in front of her was.
"oh nothing i just thought i saw something over there but maybe it's just my own problems surfacing lol" he nervously spits out, why did he say that, gosh he was so stupid.
a phone started ringing, forcing her to look out of his glowing eyes that were staring lovingly into hers in a way that had her shrinking into the floor.
he ripped his eyes away from hers rummaging around in his bag, looking for the source of the agitating ringing.
she was doing the same and soon realises it was coming from the bottom of her tote bag.
"sorry that's mine." she spoke when she finally found her phone seeing who it was from and quickly went to answer it, knowing it being urgent.
"oh right, hey i should get going i'm going to be late for work." he quickly sputtered out before putting his head down and placing one hand around his satchel strap. he moved to the side, walking around her and on his way to bureau.
"oh, bye." she said before speaking into the phone.
